Blackpool Tower Ballroom Tours

In addition to being the city’s most recognizable landmark, the Eiffel Tower–inspired Blackpool Tower is home to a variety of entertainment venues, including the Blackpool Tower Ballroom. The 19th-century ballroom is a destination for dance fans from across the globe and filming location for the BBC series Come Dancing and some editions of the dance-competition series Strictly Come Dancing.
The Basics
Dating from 1894, the elegant Blackpool Tower Ballroom is famed for its ornate, crystal-chandelier-studded decor and unique sprung dance floor, made up of mahogany, oak, and walnut. Visitors can purchase admission tickets and glide around the ballroom at leisure to the sounds of the Wurlitzer organ. If you don’t want to dance, you can simply watch from the balconies or from the side of the dance floor while enjoying afternoon tea (at an additional cost).
Things to Know Before You Go
