Get an introduction to some of the best beaches on the south coast of Crete on a guided day trip to Plakias and Preveli Beach. Venture through some of the island's amazing palm forests and then relax at the beach!As we go to these beaches, crossing with our bus the wild Kourtaliotis Gorge, we stop to see the magnificent waterfalls and the springs of the little river Preveli. Then we head to the sandy beach of Damnoni where a ship will take us in approximately thirty minutes to the famous Palm Beach Preveli.Leaving the Palm Beach Preveli we go for traditional lunch and if you want for one more swim in the picturesque village of Plakias.

On this excursion you will have the opportunity to visit Preveli and Damnoni located on the South Coast of Crete. The first stop is at Kourtaliotiko gorge which is one of the most impressive gorges of Rethymno, with its unique natural beauty and several small waterfalls. The bus then takes you to Damnoni beach with its beautiful turquoise waters and white sand. Upon arrival, you will take the boat to visit Preveli Palm Beach, one of the most spectacular beaches in Crete, an ideal place for swimming and relaxation. You may visit the palm tree forest and then the boat takes you back to Damnoni. This excursion will leave you an unforgettable experience!

Then we gonna start hiking down the river and the fresh running water gonna cool us down through the hole adventure. South Trip Special This excursion begins with the traditional village of Spili. Here you will have enough time to explore the village and have a look at the Venetian fountain ‘kefalovrissi’ with 19 lion heads. Passing through the extravagant scenery of the Kroutaliotiko Gorge you reach the Preveli Monastery. After Preveli Monastery the next stop is the Palm Beach of Preveli. From the top you will see one of the most breathtaking views of the blue waters combined with the lagoon and palm forest. You then continue to walk down the steps where you will end up on the best and palm forest. Here you will have about 2 hours of free time to soak it all in before continuing to Damnoni. The boat will take you from Preveli to Damnoni where you will have a break for lunch or refreshments. Damnoni is also an amazingly beautiful place and has an organized beach. When this incredible excursion ends you will be taken back to your Hotel area.
