Great way to spend a day out of the city.

Blarney Castle Day Trip from Dublin
Great itinerary if you only have a day to get out of Dublin. The driver was great, very funny, personable and knowledgeable. Plenty of opportunities to stop, eat and walk around. Given COVID restriction we still got a lot out of our tour. Will take one of their other tours next time we are in Dublin.

Cork and Blarney Castle Rail Tour from Dublin
Branden was an excellent guide - great storyteller & very laid back. Some of the stops are things you would never see if you were on your own. We lucked out with perfect weather & low crowds. Highly recommend!

Blarney Castle Day Tour from Dublin Including Rock of Cashel & Cork City
Great trip with plenty of time at Blarney and Cashel. Cork City was ok, not a lot of time there to explore. Overall well worth it.

Overall this was a really great experience! The coach was comfortable and we had plenty of time to explore Blarney Castle. (P.S. the folks there sanitized it after each person!)

Unforgettable Trip around Cork, Cobh and Kinsale

Full-Day Private Tour of Blarney Castle, Cork City and Kinsale
We have been to many countries and have had many private tours since we have been married. Maurice was by far the best tour guide we have ever had. He was timely picking us up, and extremely friendly and funny the entire tour. He knew everyone at every stop, which showed us his character and authenticity. Having Maurice be our guide allowed us flexibility and uniqueness in traveling around. Anything we preferred to see, he tailored our day to fit it in. His knowledge of Blarney, Cobh, and Kinsale was unmatched. Lastly, we felt very safe with him, as a driver and during a pandemic. At the end of the day he felt like an old friend. We even joked how we missed him already at dinner! Thank you, Maurice! Until we meet again.

Cobh (Cork) to Blarney Castle & Kinsale - Shore Excursion
Full day tour and it was not rushed. Had time for lunch in the lovely little town of Kinsale! Castle was good to see, but very long line to enter, so we chose not to do so. Instead walked the grounds and viewed other points of interest. Very good choice for seeing some of the Irish countryside.

Blarney Castle Tour from Cork including Cobh
Run by locals. Got us there just before the crowds. The grounds of Blarney Castle are beautiful. Loved the walk out to the lake. Trip to Cobh also interesting and very scenic.

Things to Know Before You Go

  • Come prepared with layers for Ireland's famously unpredictable weather.

  • Prepare to wait in line if you’d like to kiss the stone.

  • Stone kissing is best suited for those who are able-bodied, as the line winds up steep staircases to the castle’s top.

Exploring Cork City

A Cork day trip often includes time in the city as well as a visit to Blarney Castle. Stroll down St. Patrick Street and stop for lunch at the English Market, which hosted a visit from Queen Elizabeth II of England in 2011, or do some tax-free souvenir shopping at Blarney Woollen Mill. The Irish countryside throughout County Cork is picturesque and makes for a lovely drive.
