Halifax Tours

During this tour, guests can expect to learn about key historic events in our city’s history including the founding of Halifax, the Acadian Expulsion, the Halifax Explosion, and the many reasons why we Haligonians love this city today. Participants will learn about all major historical groups including the Acadians, Black Loyalists, Jamaican Maroons, Mi'kmaq, and British. Featuring a lovely ride along the Halifax boardwalk and into Point Pleasant Park before making our way into the Heart of the City, join us as we explore our City's favourite Green Spaces, Architecture, Urban Hubs, Night Life and Local Hot Spots. Our small group format allows for a relaxed experience between you and your guide hopefully feeling like a casual ride between friends. Please note the majority of this tour is conducted on bike lanes. Enjoy a scenic drive to the Annapolis Valley to experience 3 award winning wineries. Sip your way through Nova Scotia wine country and learn about our cool climate wines. Stop one includes a tour/tasting at the first winery. At the second winery enjoy a guided tasting and lunch with wine at Luckett Vineyards, overlooking the beautiful Minas Basin fed by the Bay of Fundy (Luckett Vineyards is only available during May-December). Finally, visit a third winery after lunch for a final guided tasting before heading back to Halifax.
