Lan Ha Bay, Vietnam

The Basics

Those looking to venture off the beaten track will find a natural playground ripe for exploring in Lan Ha Bay. Like the rest of Halong Bay, the best way to get around Lan Ha Bay is by boat, and the startling turquoise waters are peppered with hundreds of karst islands and dozens of white-sand beaches. Day cruises to the area typically include a stop at Cat Ba Island, plus time for swimming in the waters of Lan Ha Bay. Overnight and multi-day itineraries afford more time for kayaking, swimming, or exploring the limestone Dark and Bright Cave.

Off The Beaten Track To Halong Bay & Lan Ha Bay (2 days 1 night)
From the moment we were collected by bus in Hanoi to when we returned Sean and Brian ensured our travels to Halong Bay with Serenity cruises was smooth sailing. We were treated to the most wonderful service, incredible meals and the right amount of organised activities.

Jadesails- Halong Bay & Lan Ha Bay Luxury Cruise
Excellent trip, we would highly reccomend. The transfer was very swift and luxurious, water provided. The boat was superb as were all the staff, especially Nam. Lovely food, very reasonably priced drinks, good selection of activities. This was great value for a 12 hour full day out run in a very safe and well organised way.

BOUTIQUE CRUISE Lan Ha Bay 2 Days, 1 Night Tour: Swimming,Kayaking,Squid Fishing
Great guide and schedule, amazing food, no supplements ever requested. Bar is expensive whereas not enough free water and some imperfections on the boat, but overall very good quality for this price !

Halong - Lan Ha Bay Explore Incredible Cave in 1Day Full Activities
I can highly recommend this tour because it seems to be less touristy and overcrowded. We had an own ship for the whole day, freshly cooked lunch and an excellent guide who explained us many details about our sights, the country and helped us to feel comfortable. On the ship we had showers, towels and reclining seats on the top deck.

BOUTIQUE CRUISE Lan Ha Bay 2 Days, 1 Night Tour: Swimming,Kayaking,Squid Fishing
Lovely trip. The boat was basic but I wanted a less touristy boat trip and i got it. The small boat and location was great. The highlight was kayaking in la han as it was really peaceful and quiet. The tour guide was funny and informative. I would do this trip again - great value for money.

1 Day Boat Tour: HaLong Bay, Lan Ha Bay, Natural Beach and Full Moon Party
Amazing experience . The tour was great and organised very efficiently. In addition, our tour guides King and Paul were clearly very experienced and were available to answer the many questions that came from all 14 of us. Special mention to Paul who very patiently guided my young son down Monkey Island. The tour also included a very nice lunch with vegetarian options and free drinks. Efficient time keeping all the way from the bus journey accross to the ferry and to the Island. Highly recommended
