Zoocobia Fun Zoo Tours

Zoocobia Fun Zoo
The animal offerings at Zoocobia Fun Zoo, a combination zoo and adventure park, range from a petting zoo and tropical birds to taxidermy and Philippine species, with horse rides and camel rides for an additional charge. Besides slides, ziplines, all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), and 4WD rides, the star attraction is the Zooc gravity-car track.

The Basics
Most travelers visit Zoocobia from within the Clark and Angeles area, but it’s also practical as a day trip from Manila. Tickets, which get you access to the zoo element of Zoocobia and a maze, are affordably priced. Children under 3 feet tall (90 centimeters tall) get in free, but bigger kids pay adult rates. There are additional charges for rides on vehicles and animals, ziplines, Zooc, giant slides, set meals, and picking mangoes in season. You can also buy food to feed the animals in the petting zoo.

Things to Know Before You Go
  • Zoocobia Fun Zoo is a good option for families with young kids who are in the Clark area.
  • Little ones will particularly enjoy feeding the baby animals in the barn area.
  • Parts of Zoocobia are wheelchair-accessible, although surfaces can be sloping, uneven, or covered in straw.

How to Get There
Zoocobia Fun Zoo is in Clark, Pampanga province, about 62 miles (99 kilometers) north of downtown Manila. It’s just 4 miles (6.5 kilometers) north of Clark International Airport, but challenging to reach by public transport. Your best options are a tour or driving.

When to Get There
Zoocobia is open from early morning until late afternoon seven days a week, with night shows on Saturdays from October to January and March to May. Beat the lines by arriving during the working week. Avoid the major Philippine holidays at Easter and Christmas.

The Zooc Gravity Car at Zoocobia

Zoocobia’s signature Zooc gravity-car ride is loosely modeled on Singapore’s popular Skyline Luge Sentosa and similar setups around the world. Riders don helmets, board a go-kart-style vehicle that runs on gravity alone, then race downhill on the 1,312-foot (400-meter) concrete track, navigating three hairpin bends along the way.
