I was the only one on the tour. Most other people preferred the hop on hop off. This tour involved a drive around some of the main sites. It didn’t cover the large number of sites the hop on hop off did however it’s strength was the discussion on Malaysia and its culture. I was able to ask any questions I wanted and got pretty straight answers. So all good in the end.

It was a great day, fine weather all the way . The local guide was good and get us the necessary tickets and were on the express lane to hop on to the skycab. We did not queue as the usher gives us priority....was great.
Going up, the view was fantastic as the weather was bright and slowly warming up. Tourist are encourage to start early at 9.00am.
At the middle station we took some pictures and proceed to the highest station and the skybridge. It was early and not much crowd. We spend about 30 mins taking pictures. As we took the skycab down we notice more and more tourist and the crowd getting bigger.
At the ground station we went into the 3D art , 6D motion & skytrex.
Overall it was very good and would recommend visitors to spend more time at this place.

Perfect way to explore Kl if you have 6-8 hours to spare. Driver was in contact with us through whatsapp as we landed. He knew the approximate passport control timing and picked us up on time. English speaking driver and took us around as we wanted plus as per the itenery. Everything covered and guided as we were driven thru kl. Thanks a lot. Rather do this than staying in airport hotel.

Great tour of the city!
, Feb 2020
Wonderful way to view the highlights of the city in a personalized tour, especially if you’re only visiting for a short period of time. Alex was a fantastic tour guide, knowledgeable and personable. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Janice, our guide, was GREAT! Great communication, arrived on-time, adjusted the tour to meet our interests, knowledgable, a great photographer, and very friendly! Made our first visit to KL truly memorable, and whetting our appetite to return in the near future.
This was such an excellent tour of KL. I only had about 36 hours in the city and didn’t really know where to even start. I booked this tour and was so glad because we covered a lot of ground. I truly had the best day going around the city with Chen as my tour guide. He picked me up promptly at the hotel W Kuala Lumpur. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, professional and accommodating. He also has wonderful photography skills and knows the most beautiful places to take pictures. I am very excited to share them on the ‘Gram and cannot wait to come back to visit KL again. Thanks again!! :)
Take in the best views of Kuala Lumpur with your guide on hand to take the photos during this day-long city tour. The perfect option for visitors who want to see the city’s highlights in a single day, this tour allows you to document your memories as you make them.
Great your, visited the metal mosque and the biggest Malaysian one. The Moroccan Pavilion is amazing
I would of like to have some kind of guide in the mosques
Did not know that I was the only passenger, however the driver was friendly
The guide was really more of a driver than tour guide. He drove me to the mosque and turned me loose to explore on my own. The picture of the mosque on the Viator website is misleading. It doesn't look like it does in the picture, at least not during the day. The mosque is not allowing visitors due to the coronavirus. Still, I'm glad I went. I just picked the wrong time and day to go, as it was pouring rain.
Putrajaya as Malaysia’s administrative capital, Putrajaya has positioned itself as a tourist destination with its captivating architecture and picturesque landscapes.
Putrajaya is a city in Malaysia, south of Kuala Lumpur. It’s known for its late-20th-century architecture including the Putra Mosque, made from rose-colored granite with a pink dome. Nearby is the immense, green-domed Perdana Putra, which contains the prime minister’s office complex. The 3-tiered Putra Bridge is inspired by Iranian architecture, with 4 minaret-type piers overlooking the man-made Putrajaya Lake.
Filled with immaculate government buildings, wide boulevards, scenic bridges and pockets of greenery, Putrajaya is another world of its own. And there is more to this “intelligent garden city” than the usual suspects – there are many vibrant happenings you can be part of to really make the most of your next trip here. Here are 17 attractions and fun activities you can experience in Putrajaya.
Malaysia Countryside and Batu Caves Tour from Kuala Lumpur
From $13.47 (Price varies by group size )
, Jan 2020
Tour guide great, learnt a lot about Malaysia during the drive. Pick up was easy. The Selangor Pewter factory tour was interesting as was learning how east coast Batik is made. Batu Caves were fascinating. The stairs are not for the faint hearted. The heat can have a impact on how comfortable it is to climb. Need to watch out for the monkeys as they are not shy of people and are happy to steal food right out of your hands if they see an opportunity.
We loved our tour with Rajan - he was super informative and really polite. We learnt a lot about the areas we travelled through and the history of KL. A great way to see the caves, as well as batik and pewter being made and very easy as they pick you up and drop you back at the hotel. Would definitely recommend the tour and especially Rajan.
The Batu Caves are a must-see attraction for anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur. Avoid the complications of public transport and travel to the golden Hindu shrine with ease on a day trip that’s ideal for travelers with limited time. Our guide/driver Azman made it fun & educational for the 3 hours tour in spite of the on & off rain that night❣️A must for first time tourist to do in KL & a big bonus if you get Azman as your tourist guide.

We were expecting to do the "KL City Highlights" tour - but instead the tour company told our guide we were on the "Batu Caves Cultural Tour" - problem is... we had just visited Batu Caves that morning. We even saw his paperwork from the tour company stating such.
With such a mess up, I would normally rate 1/5 stars - so why 3 stars?
Because our guide saved the day. Realizing that something was wrong when all 3 of us on the tour were shocked to be going out to Batu Caves, he adapted the tour and even ran it 90 minutes long so that we could get in some extra locations.
Our guide was super friendly & obviously cared a lot about our experience to do this for us. He really saved the day. I cannot say for certain what the normal "KLCity Highlihgts Tour" includes as ours was a bit of a mix.
That being said, I think these guides are contracted out by the various agencies and I'm not sure that everyone could always expect the same. It's concerning that the tour company gave him incorrect paperwork since they are the coordinators.

Our tour of Penang has been one of the best tours that we have taken.Lee was our guide ,an excellent one⭐.We were given in depth knowledge of the history and culture of each place we visited. The snake temple, the Penang Hill, botanical gardens and Georgetown's history was well explained in a manner that we wanted to hear more and more on it.I specially liked his knowledge of the spices and flora of the gardens. The view of Georgetown was amazing from the Penang Hill. The six hours tour was too good,we were able to see the temples ,the Anglican church as well as the Kapitan Keling Mosque. We saw a lot based on our time frame.Little India, the Harmony street,Armenian street ,Gurney street and a lot more sights was covered with in depth information which Lee gave tirelessly.
It was a wonderful tour of Penang.Thank you for the amazing tour Mr.Lee.
Overall a very good package. When I asked about how to meet the driver, the reply was prompt and gave detailed directions. Our driver cum tour guide was Tiger, and he was very knowledgeable about various topics on Penang. He also shared with us many nuggets of information. For the places to visit, we selected a bunch from the places listed in the package description and also requested to visit some shops where we could buy the tambun (green bean) biscuits and preserved nutmeg. Tiger planned the itinerary for us based on our requests and we managed to get back to our cruise ship on time. He also took us to a hawker centre at Air Itam and we had some delicious local dishes for lunch. It was excellent service overall.
Jackie is a extremely knowledgeable guide and a great person, we saw many wonderful things and felt like we left with a great insight into Penang history, also went to a yummy non-touristy banana leaf curry house, great choice! Thanks Jackie
This tour let you go to all the attractions that you like, not like the can approach of a predetermined itinerary tour. For a 6 hours visit from ship or hotel or airport, you choose some 4-7 attractions to go from the list in "tour details". You choose the places and dictate how much time to spend at each attraction. Either you explore every nooks and corners, or you simply take pictures from the outside without entering the attraction, you call the shot. If mobility is a concern, go for a round island tour and take in the view from the comfort of air-conditioned car. If you do not have a clue where to go or to do, let our learned tour guide choose it for you. The tour guide cum driver, will accompany you into all attractions and give commentary on the go. You will be not be disappointed. Penang is a truly surprising hidden gem!
Overall the tour went very well. Except in the morning, our group of 32 people had agreed on a departure time of 8:30 instead of 9 am with the tour company. Unfortunately, there was communication breakdown. The tour guide kept waiting for 2 people who had not arrived on time. Therefore the tour left 20 min later.
Mr. Jackie was polite, safe, efficient, and above all very very knowledgeable. He grew up in Penang and knows the ins and out of the entire town. He really takes his job seriously and is well worth the money. He was prepared with local currency to lend us until we found an ATM, wet wipes, drinks, WiFi, and more. Very easy to let Jackie do everything and sit back and relax in his ice cold air conditioned van which was also very nice.

Sample Malaysian and international dishes from a hot and cold buffet, try freshly prepared stir fry, then taste your way through a selection of desserts alongside included tea and coffee. Each of the three meals is a distinctive experience, and you'll have spectacular views of the city as the entire restaurant smoothly revolves.
I dare to say that this was the most amazing experience during this holiday so far.
The tour included 4 delicious food stops with LOTS of food. I am a vegetarian, and it was no problem. I got lots of veggie dishes. In addition, we visited two temples and leand about Malaysian culture. Our guide was the nicest and we hat lots of fun
Anyone who doesn't do this tour, it's your own fault :D
Baxter our guide gave us a very interesting review of the religion history of Georgetown. Disappointed with the food experience, in particular the 2nd cafe. Did not meet our expectations with what we paid for.

KL with Zarif
, Feb 2020
Zarif was our KL guide. We had signed up for a small 6 passenger van for the tour, but we were the only ones who showed up--so my wife and I got a private tour.
Zarif took us to all of the sights on the list, plus a couple others in which I had interest. At each site, he waited and left the AC on, so we always were able to get into a cool car. He got us back to our ship well before we were required.
We had such a good tour that I have already given his contact info to another party that we met a few days later

4 hours travelling (2 hours each way) and 4 hours there. The trip was basically a taxi service that dropped us at one part of town. Then picked us up and took us to lunch, which was average. Then dropped us at another part of town, before picking us up and transporting us back to hotel. There were a few tips on where to visit at the 2 drop-offs but no tour guiding was given. As we had around an hour and a half at each drop off the driver/guide could have walked with us for say 30 minutes at each stop, giving some history and context. This didn't happen. Also there was supposed to be a bottle of water for each passenger (8 on our minibus) and there was 1 short so I didn't receive a bottle. I ended up buying my own drink but a sign of goodwill would have been for the driver to offer to but one for me. Not a lot of money but poor customer service.
Visit the city of Malacca, the capital of the Malaysian state of the same name, on this day trip from Kuala Lumpur. Very knowledgeable and informative on all aspects of Penang. Shared a ton of information with a lot of enthusiasm, very good English and went above and beyond to show us so much around the island. The best guide we have had and would highly recommend and definitely hire again in the future.
In this guided tour, we will visit to 3-4 main attractions in Round Penang Island:
1. Pick up and drive to National Park (Ride:45 mins).
2. Tour fishing village and jetty. See fishermen as they go about their daily lives and their boat docking at the jetty.
3. Visit handicraft center for hand drawn batik (Ride:5 mins). See handmade batik craft being transformed from a white piece of cloth to a masterpiece by master craftsmen. Buy a piece or two as souvenir for loved ones at home.
4. Fruit stall (Ride:15 mins) or Nutmeg factory (Ride: 20 mins). Learn about all Malaysian tropical fruits that are in season. Sample some spices and see them in the original form.
5. Snake Temple (Ride: 20 mins). See live Pit Viper snakes coiled up at temple. Not for the faint heart as these highly venomous snakes are alive and kicking.
6. Drop off at destination (Ride: 30 minutes).
We had a wonderful tour in Penang. Our driver, Mr Gan, was very knowledgeable and personable. When we wanted to change the itinerary he was very accommodating. He also was very willing to answer our questions about living in Penang.
We had a super tour with our guide Sam and driver Kris. To be honest when we met them it was like meeting two old friends that were showing us round their town. Sam introduced us to his friends as we went round Penang, people he went to church with and people whom he had worked with, like the doorman at the E & O Hotel where we breezed in to look round as easily as we would had we been staying there.
Sam bought us little bits of street food, which we probably wouldn't have tried otherwise.
At the end of the tour he showed us where we could get a typical Malaysian lunch and helped us to change sufficient money in order to buy lunch.
And, of course he was an excellent guide and very knowlegable.
Kris was a very experienced driver adding his own little bits of humour into the tour too and I never had to open the car door once as he was on it like a shot the minute we pulled up anywhere.
I would highly recommend this tour. I know we had a better time doing this tour with Sam and Kris than the people on our ship who bought the ship's excursion.
It was a pleasure.
