I was the only one on the tour. Most other people preferred the hop on hop off. This tour involved a drive around some of the main sites. It didn’t cover the large number of sites the hop on hop off did however it’s strength was the discussion on Malaysia and its culture. I was able to ask any questions I wanted and got pretty straight answers. So all good in the end.

It was a great day, fine weather all the way . The local guide was good and get us the necessary tickets and were on the express lane to hop on to the skycab. We did not queue as the usher gives us priority....was great.
Going up, the view was fantastic as the weather was bright and slowly warming up. Tourist are encourage to start early at 9.00am.
At the middle station we took some pictures and proceed to the highest station and the skybridge. It was early and not much crowd. We spend about 30 mins taking pictures. As we took the skycab down we notice more and more tourist and the crowd getting bigger.
At the ground station we went into the 3D art , 6D motion & skytrex.
Overall it was very good and would recommend visitors to spend more time at this place.

Great your, visited the metal mosque and the biggest Malaysian one. The Moroccan Pavilion is amazing
I would of like to have some kind of guide in the mosques
Did not know that I was the only passenger, however the driver was friendly
The guide was really more of a driver than tour guide. He drove me to the mosque and turned me loose to explore on my own. The picture of the mosque on the Viator website is misleading. It doesn't look like it does in the picture, at least not during the day. The mosque is not allowing visitors due to the coronavirus. Still, I'm glad I went. I just picked the wrong time and day to go, as it was pouring rain.
Putrajaya as Malaysia’s administrative capital, Putrajaya has positioned itself as a tourist destination with its captivating architecture and picturesque landscapes.
Putrajaya is a city in Malaysia, south of Kuala Lumpur. It’s known for its late-20th-century architecture including the Putra Mosque, made from rose-colored granite with a pink dome. Nearby is the immense, green-domed Perdana Putra, which contains the prime minister’s office complex. The 3-tiered Putra Bridge is inspired by Iranian architecture, with 4 minaret-type piers overlooking the man-made Putrajaya Lake.
Filled with immaculate government buildings, wide boulevards, scenic bridges and pockets of greenery, Putrajaya is another world of its own. And there is more to this “intelligent garden city” than the usual suspects – there are many vibrant happenings you can be part of to really make the most of your next trip here. Here are 17 attractions and fun activities you can experience in Putrajaya.
Malaysia Countryside and Batu Caves Tour from Kuala Lumpur
From $13.47 (Price varies by group size )
, Jan 2020
Tour guide great, learnt a lot about Malaysia during the drive. Pick up was easy. The Selangor Pewter factory tour was interesting as was learning how east coast Batik is made. Batu Caves were fascinating. The stairs are not for the faint hearted. The heat can have a impact on how comfortable it is to climb. Need to watch out for the monkeys as they are not shy of people and are happy to steal food right out of your hands if they see an opportunity.
We loved our tour with Rajan - he was super informative and really polite. We learnt a lot about the areas we travelled through and the history of KL. A great way to see the caves, as well as batik and pewter being made and very easy as they pick you up and drop you back at the hotel. Would definitely recommend the tour and especially Rajan.
The Batu Caves are a must-see attraction for anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur. Avoid the complications of public transport and travel to the golden Hindu shrine with ease on a day trip that’s ideal for travelers with limited time. You also stop at the Royal Selangor Pewter factory, rubber tree plantation, and batik factory to see how traditional handicrafts are made.

From $131.42 (Price varies by group size )
Eco Friendly and well organised
, Oct 2019
I was really impressed as it was very well organised and our leader, Pat, was friendly , accomodating and patient with all of us. He let us go wild for a little while, which was un-expected but nice to be able to free style for a while. You get to see a nice enclosed lake, go for swims, connect with nature, snorkelling gear is provided and you get put on a deserted beach to chill for a while. Everything was just perfect. Beyond expectations. Thanks Pat!
This was a fun tour. Guide was very helpful and fun. However 2 jet skis broke down in the middle of the sea. We had to wait for rescue so lost about 30 mins.
Furthermore i feel 4 hours was too long for this tour 2.5 to 3 hours would have been ideal

We thoroughly enjoyed on half day mangrove journey. The guide was very informative and gave us lots of information as we traveled through the mangroves. Lunch at the fish farm was also very nice. Great day highly recommended.

We were expecting to do the "KL City Highlights" tour - but instead the tour company told our guide we were on the "Batu Caves Cultural Tour" - problem is... we had just visited Batu Caves that morning. We even saw his paperwork from the tour company stating such.
With such a mess up, I would normally rate 1/5 stars - so why 3 stars?
Because our guide saved the day. Realizing that something was wrong when all 3 of us on the tour were shocked to be going out to Batu Caves, he adapted the tour and even ran it 90 minutes long so that we could get in some extra locations.
Our guide was super friendly & obviously cared a lot about our experience to do this for us. He really saved the day. I cannot say for certain what the normal "KLCity Highlihgts Tour" includes as ours was a bit of a mix.
That being said, I think these guides are contracted out by the various agencies and I'm not sure that everyone could always expect the same. It's concerning that the tour company gave him incorrect paperwork since they are the coordinators.
See the best of Kuala Lumpur on this morning or afternoon city highlights tour that showcases top landmarks, attractions, and sites. See where Old World meets New World as you follow your guide to the King's Palace and Merdeka Square. Make stops at the National Museum, National Mosque, and other key destinations. This tour includes round-trip hotel transportation and guarantees a good time!
Overall the tour went very well. Except in the morning, our group of 32 people had agreed on a departure time of 8:30 instead of 9 am with the tour company. Unfortunately, there was communication breakdown. The tour guide kept waiting for 2 people who had not arrived on time. Therefore the tour left 20 min later.
Mr. Jackie was polite, safe, efficient, and above all very very knowledgeable. He grew up in Penang and knows the ins and out of the entire town. He really takes his job seriously and is well worth the money. He was prepared with local currency to lend us until we found an ATM, wet wipes, drinks, WiFi, and more. Very easy to let Jackie do everything and sit back and relax in his ice cold air conditioned van which was also very nice.

We had a wonderful tour in Penang. Our driver, Mr Gan, was very knowledgeable and personable. When we wanted to change the itinerary he was very accommodating. He also was very willing to answer our questions about living in Penang.
We had a super tour with our guide Sam and driver Kris. To be honest when we met them it was like meeting two old friends that were showing us round their town. Sam introduced us to his friends as we went round Penang, people he went to church with and people whom he had worked with, like the doorman at the E & O Hotel where we breezed in to look round as easily as we would had we been staying there.
Sam bought us little bits of street food, which we probably wouldn't have tried otherwise.
At the end of the tour he showed us where we could get a typical Malaysian lunch and helped us to change sufficient money in order to buy lunch.
And, of course he was an excellent guide and very knowlegable.
Kris was a very experienced driver adding his own little bits of humour into the tour too and I never had to open the car door once as he was on it like a shot the minute we pulled up anywhere.
I would highly recommend this tour. I know we had a better time doing this tour with Sam and Kris than the people on our ship who bought the ship's excursion.
It was a pleasure.

Our tour of Penang has been one of the best tours that we have taken.Lee was our guide ,an excellent one⭐.We were given in depth knowledge of the history and culture of each place we visited. The snake temple, the Penang Hill, botanical gardens and Georgetown's history was well explained in a manner that we wanted to hear more and more on it.I specially liked his knowledge of the spices and flora of the gardens. The view of Georgetown was amazing from the Penang Hill. The six hours tour was too good,we were able to see the temples ,the Anglican church as well as the Kapitan Keling Mosque. We saw a lot based on our time frame.Little India, the Harmony street,Armenian street ,Gurney street and a lot more sights was covered with in depth information which Lee gave tirelessly.
It was a wonderful tour of Penang.Thank you for the amazing tour Mr.Lee.
Overall a very good package. When I asked about how to meet the driver, the reply was prompt and gave detailed directions. Our driver cum tour guide was Tiger, and he was very knowledgeable about various topics on Penang. He also shared with us many nuggets of information. For the places to visit, we selected a bunch from the places listed in the package description and also requested to visit some shops where we could buy the tambun (green bean) biscuits and preserved nutmeg. Tiger planned the itinerary for us based on our requests and we managed to get back to our cruise ship on time. He also took us to a hawker centre at Air Itam and we had some delicious local dishes for lunch. It was excellent service overall.
Jackie is a extremely knowledgeable guide and a great person, we saw many wonderful things and felt like we left with a great insight into Penang history, also went to a yummy non-touristy banana leaf curry house, great choice! Thanks Jackie
