Tiffany & Co. dates back to 1837, when Charles Tiffany and John B. Young opened a store selling lady’s jewelry and watches. Forty years later, the company rose to fame when it purchased what is now known as the Tiffany Siamond—a 128-karat, fancy yellow diamond that is considered one of the world’s finest gemstones. (Movie fans will remember that it was set into a necklace worn by Audrey Hepburn in promotional shots forBreakfast at Tiffany’s.)
Visit Tiffany & Co.’s flagship store to shop for everything from engagement rings and diamond earrings to fine china and exquisite baby gifts—and to see the Tiffany Diamond, which is displayed in the store. Over the holidays, the store windows come alive with special displays.
