This activity will end right where it started.
Emerge early and depart from central Belfast in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan destined for the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Giant’s Causeway. Along the way, listen to legends surrounding the formation of the mystifying natural wonder that consists of hexagonal rock columns that fit together like a puzzle. Climb the coastal stones, listen to intriguing myths, and feel the invigorating ocean breeze as you spend some leisurely time at the natural landmark.

Travel the scenic Antrim Road to the famous Carrickfergus Castle, an impressive Norman fortress considered one of Northern Ireland’s best preserved. Hear of the structure’s intriguing history before traveling to the Old Mushmills Distillery, home to one of Ireland’s favorite brands of the amber nectar. Revitalize with lunch at the distilleries bar (own expense), and purchase special whiskey-related souvenirs from the gift shop (own expense).

Then, it's onto the famous Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. On arrival, conquer your fears and walk tentatively across the rickety bridge suspended 100 feet (30 meters) above the crashing waves of the Atlantic Ocean (own expense). If you’d prefer to keep your adrenaline levels stable, opt for a bracing walk along the coast instead.

Relax during the scenic journey back to Belfast, which passes the medieval Dunluce Castle, and bid your guide farewell in central Belfast.

Amazing experience! Our coach driver Patrick was absolutely amazing! Told us loads of information and was extremely friendly. Nothing was too much trouble, he even helped us with the directions back to our hotel when the tour ended.

Great Day Out

Our driver/guide Patrick was amazing making the whole day interesting and amusing. Disappointed that although it was advertised we would go to The Rope Walk and Bushmills Distillery, we didn't. I understand this may be due to closures but feel that we should have been informed that the itinerary had changed

Overall an OK tour, parts of the tour were left out but we were not informed of this, the guide just failed to mention it until asked, no Whiskey distillery tour which should have been included and no Refund offered to compensate.

Thank you for leaving us a review. Please note that it is mentioned on our website that Bushmills Distillery is currently not a stop we can offer. This is due to the recent pandemic Kind Regards, McCombs Coaches

I loved visiting all these places and being where some of the scenes from Game of Thrones were filmed. The best thing was the guide who made the trip very pleasant with his jokes and anecdotes. 100% recommended
