Edwin was by far the best tour guide I had between my stay in Tulum and Cancun. He is very knowledgeable, funny, kind, and authentic. The tour itself was amazing from beginning to end. Definitely a tour I will forever remember. The bus driver was very professional and punctual.

Good Experience but Felt A Little Rushed

This trip was pretty cool. Our guide, Victor Manuel, was awesome. I just wish we'd had more time in each area. Chichen Itza - So cool, but just didn't have enough time. With an hour of guided explanation and touring, we only had 45-60 minutes to explore the area on our own and it's way bigger than I thought it would be. Cenote & Lunch - Also super cool but after the lunch buffet (which was pretty good, the Hispanic foods were better than the more American options in my opinion) we had maybe 45 minutes to swim. It was also super crowded. Valladolid - Cool little square, but we were only here for 30 minutes :( Overall, this was fun and it was a long day. With 3 hours driving there and back each way, we we were always not going to have enough time there.

Martin was our tour guide and Jose was our driver for the day, the best duo! Pick up from Tulum was smooth, a separate drive had picked us up from the pick up point (at Super Aki) where we joined the bigger group. The coach was perfectly comfortable. From the get go, Martin was so informative and made sure everyone was aware of what to expect from the day, which is literally what's written in the 'What to expect'. Martin had a great sense of humor and kept the group engaged, he made the effort to get to know where we were from and gave us very realistic timelines and everything ran on time (which can vary depending on traffic). Martin was very organised and ensured we would get queue jumping tickets on arrival (paid to him directly on the coach) which meant we could beat the queues and walk straight in which was well worth it as there were so many people. You walk through the market stalls and eventually get to what you've been waiting for! Martin explained we'll have a tour for an hour followed by an hour of personal time where you can go explore, take pictures and check out the stalls. If you want to browse in peace, you're not going to get that here, but they were not pushy and respectful if you had walked on. Two hours was more than enough time and Martin was so knowledgeable and full of enthusiasm. We then moved on to the Cenote, we had a buffet lunch before and you are spoilt for choice and they definitely fill up your plate! Make sure you try all their meats! Once you're all fueled up again, you can go for a swim in the Cenote, it's a very deep one, hence you need to wear a life jacket here, there is a really awesome waterfall and many people were jumping in to the Cenote if you're into that! It's definitely not a quiet Cenote considering you'll notice everyone there was probably also on a tour! We then moved to a cute town for 30 minutes- Valladolid, it's such a pretty town but unfortunately I personally feel like it was spoiled by too many tourist shops within the square, understandably this is how the economy needs to make money, but maybe if we had more time there, it would give us more time to venture out of the square to see a more authentic side to Valladolid. The journey back to Tulum seemed long but we got plenty of siesta time on the coach and Martin would wake us up when we were close to arrival. Once again we had a separate driver take us back to Tulum from Playa del Carmen, the driver was so nice and offered to drop us off at our hotel at the beach front for the same price as what we paid for the Taxi in the morning, we definitely accepted this offer as we were tired by the end of the day. Overall my friend and I had an amazing day!

Wonderful private tour

We had a great experience with this private tour. Pick up on time, easy, responsible, and reliable. Our guide Martin is very funny, friendly, flexibility and knowledgeable. He gave as much as information about the history. We had enough for the activities. No shopping stops as we expected. Thanks Martin and your co-worker(driver).

The Bus ride was comfortable. The tour guide was very energetic and nice, His English was broken so difficult to understand a lot of the stuff. Chichen Itza was a nice experience, felt I had a little less time to spend there, 1hr more would have helped. A nice place to shop for Souvenirs too. The Lunch and Cenote experience was fabulous. Valladoid stop was very nice. Overall a very positive experience and Highly recommended.
