Ring of Kerry Private Tour from Killarney

The Ring of Kerry Private Tour was so awesome. The operator Donny arrived early, was very informative, showed us the best spots to take photos. He was so kind to my elderly mother as well. This was a perfect tour with a great guide!

Because we were a group of six our family chose to hire a mini-bus for the day. We were grateful we did. Our driver, David, was helpful in suggesting places to see and was open to our needs. We had a great day and all agreed that we would do it again as there is so much to see and 8 hours isn't enough. David was personable had a good sense of humour and was very knowledgeable. He even knew what music to play when we wanted some quiet time. Five stars out of five for David. Oh yeah and the scenery is spectacular too.

We booked with the Killarney taxi company and were not disappointed. Derek our tour driver/guide was both hilarious and knowledgeable. My wife and I were accompanied by our 20 something sons and all of us had a fantastic experience. He took us to a couple of very special places the large tour buses cant or don't go to. We even had him join us for lunch we liked him so much. The tour was one of the best I have ever been on and this trip it was one of 7 I booked through Viator.

We really learnt more than we would have otherwise. William was able to go to area not possible with larger tours. LOVELY DAY!

I travelled with my three daughters and we all enjoyed the tour immensely. It was nice being able to relax and enjoy the scenery and our guide was very informative.

We had a wonderful trip and tour. The warm, sunny, cloudless sky, and beautiful day helped so much...however, William - our driver/guide/now friend was terrific. He was engaging, friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to take the road less traveled i.e. No tour buses of 50-60 people and ridiculous gift shops. We spent 9 1/2 hours with him- from his prompt arrival at our hotel, until our departure in the evening. The weather may shorten the time a little- if it is too cold, foggy, or rainy to see certain places Cliffs of Kerry- breathtaking and gorgeous. It bears mentioning, in order to have a terrific experience, the passengers /sightseers must be interested in conversation, ask questions, and seem interested....we were and we had a blast. Remember that the drivers are people- and life is sweeter when you take the time to get to know them.... Every place along the Ring was more intriguing than the one before, and he gave us time to amble around castle ruins, stone forts, seaside towns and beaches, manor homes, pastures, etc. for photos and the experience. He keeps a blog, website, etc...so there are lots of places that he has found that are willing to be shared. If you book and don't get William, his partner is just as kind and interesting- briefly met him in the restaurant we stopped for lunch.

Sehr zu empfehlen! Derek ging sofort auf Sonderwünsche ein. Er ist eine hochinteressante Tour mit einer zusätzlichen Route von ca. 60 km, ergänzend zum eigentlichen ring of kerrry, mit uns gefahren. Seine sympathische Art und die richtige Dosis an Information macht die Tour au jeden Fall lohnenswert. Am Ende wraen es 9 statt 8 Stunden. Ich kann sie nur jedem Tourist sehr ans Herz legen.
