10:30 AM
East Avenue Road Killarney , Killarney, Co. Kerry, Ireland
Meet your coach for mid-morning pickup in central Killarney. Once aboard, sit back and relax as you journey west along Ireland’s rocky Atlantic coast to Dingle Peninsula. Marvel at the majestic landscape dotted with scenes of Irish life, and stop to explore wind-swept beaches, formidable cliffs, and unique flora and fauna. Your coach passes Inch Beach, a favorite location for peace-seeking kite flyers and surfers.

Head into the lovely town of Dingle, where you break to have lunch (own expense), explore the town’s vibrant and colorful streets, and perhaps spot Fungie, Dingle’s famed local dolphin. Sweets enthusiasts won’t want to miss a stop at Murphy’s for some signature local ice cream!

Afterward, continue on to Slea Head, the most westerly point in Europe. Along the way, glimpse beehive-shaped huts and life in the Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking) communities that line the route. At Slea Head, imagine the excitement that westward emigrants experienced in passing this point, and enjoy wonderful views of the Blasket Islands, a desolate area that was once inhabited by thriving Irish-speaking islanders.

On the return trip to Killarney, your coach will stop at Gallarus Oratory, one of the region’s mysterious archeological gems. Walk through the site that is considered the best-preserved early Christian church in Ireland, and enjoy stunning views of Smerwick Harbor and Mount Brandon.

Your tour returns to the departure point in Killarney by early evening.

Good and bad…

Lunch at Danno’s in Dingle was s highlight! Seafood chowder and brown bread was outstanding. Driver was grouchy, but very informative and did go out of his way to try and help a man who lost his wallet. Not nice that there were 6 seats held as priority and those of us that got there early couldn’t have those seats, when in reality there were only 2 people we picked up at a fancy hotel needed them. So those coming late ended up with the best seats!

The trip was amazing and the driver/ guide was very professional and knowledgeable. If I could change 1 thing it would be to have a few more picture stops and a little less time in Dingle. Overall it is a must see

Despite the dreary weather and fog, we had a wonderful time. Batt, our guide was very informative and entertaining and kept us smiling. We enjoyed the stops along the way, and had a nice lunch in Dingle. After driving the Ring of Kerry the day before, it was nice to have a break driving too!

Beautiful scenery. Lots of driving. I thought there would be more walking and exploring the area than there was, but I should have checked into that. This is a beautiful area to see.

We loved our driver. Mr. O’Sullivan grew up in Killarney and was full of wonderful stories about the area and life growing up in the area which matched well with the scenery. We enjoyed Inch Beach and the stop at the Bee Huts where we got to hold baby lambs. The scenery was amazing and we had lots of stops to take pictures along the way. Seeing the area where some Star Wars was filmed was fun and also the town of Dingle was a nice place to walk around.

The tour was absolutely amazing and the sights were awesome! The tour guide was a great driver on those super narrow roads. However the bus was miserably hot. No air flow at all.

Bart was phenomenal! He added jokes, personal stories and human interest facts while driving us through an unforgettable, natural wonder through the Dingle Peninsula. Enriching, memorable and a feel good experience to crown our trip to Ireland. Keep Bart! He is the best!

The Dingle Penninsula is a must see. Beautiful scenery. Loved the town of Dingle. Our tour guide was great and the bus driver had some very tough driving with some hairpin turns which he mastered perfectly.

Terrible tour. Waste of money. The driver (also tour guide) was very hard to hear and would not use a head phone. He drove to the major sight points but only stopped for 5 minutes to take photos and then gave us 2 hours in the touristy Dingle town. Started at 10:30 and we’re back bef4 pm. The mini bus was uncomfortable and hard to see from the small windows especially for those sitting in the middle.

Our Tour Guide Batt was funny and entertaining. He did an excellent job and made the tour very enjoyable for our first visit to Ireland. We wish we could stay longer than 1.5 hours in Dingle - 1.5 hours including lunch was a bit rush. Great weather! Thanks.

We were lucky with weather. Grate day. 4stars only as in my opinion too few photos stops. i did not see Gladius Oratory (pity). We had 3 foto stops before Dingle. In Dingle town 2 hours for me bit too long but I understand that other guests would love to enjoy lunch. Otherwise very good, grate scenary.
