In case the guide didn't recognized you, your provided cellphone will be contacted, please make sure it is on at pick-up time. Please note that the pickup and drop off services are provided on a complementary basis courtesy of Ntours. Drop-off is ONLY provided when the full-day (7-hour) option is selected. In case of road closure or intense traffic in the area of a hotel, we shall make our best to advise alternative pickup/drop off location as close as possible to your hotel.

    • COVID-19 temporary prevention measures: At N-tours we are taking all necessary precautions to provide our guests safe tours and enjoyable experiences. Our vehicles are cleaned more frequently, especially client high frequency touch points. Wearing a face mask is mandatory in the vehicle and in closed spaces during visits for our guides/drivers and all participants, if a guest doesn't have a mask, we shall be happy to offer one. Wearing gloves is highly recommended inside the vehicle. Our guides/drivers who have tested for COVID19 and are positive or still waiting for their results, show COVID-19 symptoms or have been in contact with a confirmed case in the last 10 days will not be allowed to do any tours. Some activities/visits might not be doable due to 3rd party temporary closure.
    • In case of special events or roads closure tour/attractions could be modified without prior notice
    • Smoking, e-cigarettes and alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited inside the vehicle.
    • Clients will be asked if they are sick, showing COVID-19 symptoms, have tested for COVID-19 and still waiting for the result or are positive, have been in contact with someone who is, in the last 10 days. If guests answer yes to any of these questions, they will not be able to take part in the tour.

    Pickup was at location populated by several homeless people, didn’t feel safe. Guide was nice and informative, but small van made it hard to see points of interest. Saw more on hop on hop off bus ride.

    Thank you Andy for your review and feed back, it is highly appreciated. Our tour start point is within the downtown campus of Concordia University. It was chosen because it is easily accessible by metro / bus and also being a university area, many parking options are available if someone is driving. It is also surrounded by many cafes and restaurants, in case someone shows up early and need to have a coffee or need to go to the washroom before the tour starts. Like all big cities, Montreal has some homeless individuals that hang around downtown area, but up until now and for many years, we never had a security issue, otherwise we would have change the tour start point immediately. On your second comment, being specialized in small group seize groups, this allow us to offer more personalized service and to access more points of interest as well as conducting several visits during the tour. Of course with the small seize groups we have to use vans and minibuses and unfortunately, we are not allowed to have an open top because of safety reasons.

    I loved the guided tour; very knowledgeable and friendly guide. However, I didn’t like the company SUV they sent, very compact, not super comfortable. And they said hotel pick up included but there is a catch, which you learn after buying your ticket, I.e pick only in downtown area. Otherwise, it was great yet expensive option.

In fact, it is a full-seize SUV which should seats 6 adult passengers comfortably. Regarding the hotel pickup, we are also sorry that you didn't see it earlier, but in the information regarding the tour, it states clearly that we do only pickup from hotel in downtown Montreal. According to our records, your booking was a late booking where you have chosen a hotel near the airport and upon calling us, you said it was OK for you to meet us at downtown Montreal, otherwise we would have accepted that you cancel the tour and get a refund.     Mounir was very good and gave us a wonderful sense of the city it’s people history culture and places. However I do think that for a tour of the city the amount of time spent in the Oratory was much too much. As a secular tourist I would have appreciated more of the street art work and other types of sites, neighborhoods and districts—more diversity of stops would have held our interest more.

On the other hand, we would like to highlight that regardless of its religious aspect, the St Joseph Oratory is a Canadian heritage site, and it is the main visit included in this tour. Being the largest church in Canada and as it has different interesting sections, it takes up to 30 mnts, but this doesn't affect at all the other points of interest that are included in the tour, which are published in the tour itinerary, nor the time allocated to them.     We really enjoyed the Sightseeing Tour of Montreal. It is a small group tour, so one has every opportunity to have their questions answered. The vehicle for the tour is full size SUV with grass roof, giving everyone a great view of the city. Mounir is a very good tour guide. He is very knowledgeable, punctual, polite, and pleasant to talk to person. We would definitely recommend the tour to everyone.

For seeing it all though, the full day option is advised. Regarding the Oratory, it is the highlight of this tour.
