Didn't follow the route...
, Jul 2022
Didn't follow the route on the map. There was a huge traffic jam, at the minimum the driver should have diverted or let the passengers off instead of making us sit wasting time. The guide was good
only marginal transportation
, Jul 2022
often waited much longer than the advertized 15 min interval between busses. some of the guides were very loud. almost shouting into the microphone
Nice tour but not enough supporting information
, Jul 2022
The tour helped identify and plan visits to key attractions. However, we lost half a day trying to find a boarding stop near to our accommodation. We didn't receive a map with the ticket to identify the stops and neither are stops marked on the streets to help identify them. Based on my experience, I would recommend going to the main information center near Dorchester square, take a full tour to identify stops, get your band and then you can get down and board the bus any number of times over 2 days.
Hopp on Hopp off Montreal tour disaster

We were left sranded at a stop #7 St Joseph's orarorio. The bus was suppossed to pick us up at 5:30, we were there on time ( 5 families in total some with children), but the bus never ahowed up to get us. We called the # on the brochure and spoke to am agent (by the name of Ilo)whofirst said to me that the bus was late bcz of traffic and road closures, but that it was on its way. When I asked him to give us an approximate pick up time he put me on hold to call and find that out, when he got back to me he said that the bus was not coming at all. I requested several times that they sent a taxi or an Uber or someone to pick us up, but he said he could not do that. I tried to get an Uber or a taxi and the 3 companies I spoke to could not accomodate us because we were 9 people in total and there were no minivans available as we needed 2 of them or at least one plus a regular vehicle. It took us 2 hours to get back to down town Mintreal where our vehicles were parked. A bus driver was nice enough to let us ridefor free as we didn't have tokens and they don't accept cash for payment. So we took a bus and walked the rest. Our tour went wrong from the very begining. The bus that. We boarded at 10 am brile down at the first stop and we could not get on the one behind because it was full. So we got off and visited Notra Dame and walked to Old Montreal to hop on the next bus, but waited 45 minutes inatead of 15 as the schedule said. So as you can see our experience was not at all what we expected. During my phone call, I expressed my disappointment to Ilo the agent I spoke to and he suggested to go to the office on the Sunday that the manager would be there and that we could bring our concerns to her in person. We drove from Point Clair where we were staying, 30 min away from downtown and showed up at 10:30 am to talk to her, only to find out she was not there. They gave us a complaint form to fill out and said that they would summit it for us and that we shouldbe getting 25% back. We didn't even use the second day of the pass even though we only got to visit 2 out of all the stops as we had no confidence on the reliability of the buses and their committment to their schedule. No one took responsibility for what happed and they should have. We did our part, we paid in full for a two day pass for 9 people and we were dissatisfied, disaapointed and sad that we did not receive what we paid for. My expectation is that after explaining what happened, I am issued a full refund and an apologie would be nice as well. Thank you Cristina Botero
Not really what we wanted
, Jul 2022
The tour stops were very vague and hard to find. The stops were not as described The on bus tour guides didn’t tell us much. We spent a long time sitting and waiting. Pretty much a bust of the day.
Great experience

Ease of seeing everything in the city. Very convenient . Guide was funny. Weather was awesome. Montreal is a very interesting city
Not as much history as fun facts
, Jul 2022
Nice way to get the lay-out of the city! Guide was funny BUT 1/2 of the time he was telling us to watch the trees (either on left or right); little historical info imparted which would be more interesting to most tourists (Most people know the differences b/t American soccer & Canadian football!🤨). So, info was fun but not that informative.
, Jun 2022
I was disappointed that 2 stops were canceled. Had to make up for it by walking to stops. Also I booked a trip on June 18 by mistake for June 19th and I was not even in Canada. i asked for a refund. So I had to pay twice for one tour. I know it was my fault but asked anyway.
Improve communication to enhance customer experience
, Jun 2022
To get a sense of various neighborhoods, this was a helpful experience. Our guides were good, too. However, the company needs to: 1) share the actual stops on the website or email confirming tickets 2) say the buses run about every 15 minutes from 10-5 3) put up signage at the places where folks should hop on/hop off. We didn't know where the start was or that we needed to redeem our tickets there, so we were waiting at the Museum and struggling to get information on the phone. This frustration was unnecessary with clear communication.

Richard was a fantastic tour guide. Knowledge and humor we sought him out for each day. Thank you!! 😃👍
An interesting way to see the city!
, Jun 2022
Very informative! I like the flexibility to get on and off at will. The guides we had were very knowledgeable of the area. I enjoyed the double decker bus.

A nice trip
, Jun 2022
Seeing a nice lunch spot and returning to that stop Then, reboarding and riding to the stop closest to our hotel A very pleasant day
Strange, which made for good stories, but not great
, Jun 2022
The stops listed on this posting were not correct when we went. We got lucky to find the bus at all. See brochure for actual stop sites (May 2022). The bus didn't always stop at each place. Some of the commentary was odd, "1million people buried in this cemetery" and "best fish and chips here, but I've never been, so I don't know." We were able to see some parts of Montreal, but it wasn't very helpful as a means of transport around the town. Online it said it went to the area by the Biodome, but it didn't. Would have been worth it if it had have gone to the Biodome area, but since it didn't the whole area covered was easily walkable and the tour itself wasn't great (but was in both English/French as described)

Excellent hop on bus tour of Montreal
, Jun 2022
Well worth seeing Montreal on the bus, with a live guide. It’s too big a city to see on foot, especially when there’s a shortage of time…

Easy and convenient way to explore the city
, Jun 2022
Great, easy way to explore Montreal. You can easily get your bearings with this very large city. Then you can walk wherever you like.
The best guide and driver
, May 2022
Our guide Robert, and driver Sergio were absolutely amazing the 1st day. We did the entire route start to finish with them. We went on the tour the next day as well. Although those guides were not near as good, we still found it informative and a great way to get around and see the city.
The tour operator was...
, May 2022
The tour operator was very informative we learned a lot! The bus was on time and really covered all the areas on Montreal. I definitely recommend it!
The busses stayed on...
, May 2022
The busses stayed on schedule. The guides were very friendly and extremely helpful in answering questions. It's a great way to get to know and navigate the city easily.
Buyer be aware. Great for some, not for all
, May 2022
No labels or signs at stops, person at the customer service number could not give us concise directions as to where we were vs where we could "catch" tour. Viator instructions were not up to date nor correct, one stop was no longer offered, the home office wanted us to come to home base rather than picking up at any stop, pre printed route map was not clear enough, we were given directions to the next stop over half mile away while we were standing and calling less than 4 blocks away from a stop. Mr. Costa was not a very good narrator, Natalie was GREAT. The home office finally came thru and picked us up from hotel the next day to make up for our frustrations.
