Couldn’t be any better

I enjoyed the enthusiasm all staff had for their topic. I especially liked the authentic period dress. Every employee added to the experience with friendly informative and personalized interaction.

Great information on all the exhibits and videos. Ease to walk around and in & out of the different areas.
Interesting Artifacts and Knowledgable Staff
, Jun 2022
We learned a lot at this museum. I especially liked George Washington’s tent because it’s just amazing to me that it’s managed to be preserved after all these years. The staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable. My only complaint is that they would just walk up and start talking to you, which for most people is probably not a big deal. I’m just antisocial. To their credit they did have some interesting things to say and we did have some nice conversation with them. If I could I’d give 4.5 stars instead of just 4
Outstanding experience

We did not wait for the guide and explored in our own time. The museum was incredibly educational and interesting and the audio option added an additional dimension to the experience.
A must for any Philly visitor

Awesome museum. Really brings the whole story of the American revolution to life. Shows good and bad, and explains everything. Staff members are very knowledgeable and helpful.

The Museum is excellent But the audio tour we paid for through Viator was only available in Spanish so we were unable to use it $$ Just pay your admission at the door There are several theaters and numerous well done displays
Incredible Experience

One of the best museums we’ve ever been too. Lots of interactive features, the mini theaters throughout were great. We loved getting to see Washington’s War Tent and learning more about the Indigenous people. Also really appreciated the attention to sharing the full stories, including acknowledging the faults and flaws of our country & recognizing the people of color that played an incredibly important but often overlooked role in our history.

Awesome experience
, Jul 2021
This was one of the best history experiences imaginable. Everything was well done... scope, objectivity, visual presentation and content. We spent 5 hours and got a fuller understanding of the revolution. I strongly recommend the museum for anyone that wants to understand the importance of the seminal period in the history of the USA.
Get your history on here!!

Warmly greeted when we arrived. Saw the special exhibit “Flags and Founding Documents” we never realized there were so many “versions” of the flag. But our hands down favorite exhibit was “Washington’s War Tent” that was amazing to see!! All the exhibits were informative and interesting to see. Definitely recommend a stop here if you’re coming to Philadelphia to get your history on!

Impressive and awe inspiring Our favorite event was Washington’s tent s as nd the movie that accompanied it!
Did not disappoint!
, Jul 2021
The American Revolution museum was incredible. We had my husband and myself, along with our 9 year older son. Each one of us enjoyed the exhibits and had new learning to take away. We especially enjoyed seeing Washington’s tent and reading more about the key players and other groups of people affected by the war. Being from the South, we really enjoyed reading about how the war affected the South.
Trip to Washington’s War Tent!
, Jul 2021
The Washington War Tent was incredible so was the docent in the hall who stayed afterwards to tell us the story of the minister who bought the tent but sold pieces of it as relics and also taught us about the Navy Flag display and the messaging! We loved her!
It was informative and enjoyable

Hoping to find more information

Some of it very good but not a lot there. Would like more on how they buried the dead and took care of the wounded. Why is there not a soldier buried at the tomb in Arlington?
