The other side of the Philly story

Good information and very interesting to hear Philly history from the African descendant perspective. The tour guide could have managed the group better by finding shaded areas for us to stand and projecting better. When his back was turned to us we had a hard time hearing him, even though he had a mic. Overall, I recommend it.

This tour may not change your life but it will most certainly change your view of African American history. The tour is expertly told by an attorney who has researched the archives and the law to bring this untold story to life. Philadelphia's history of black slaves and black freeman is conveyed in a thought provoking two hour walking tour with an interesting array of places, plaques and people. This is a great tour and one we whole heartily recommend.
