WORST TOUR EVER

This was one of this worst tours I have ever been on. The driver was 30 minutes late and the tour was already very lengthy. We didn’t get back to our hotel until midnight. The information seemed scattered and it was hard to follow. We got left at the very first stop and had to call and have the bus turn around to come get us. We arrived back at the meeting spot at the exact time we were told to and we still got left! I asked the driver to do a head count next time and he never did! He told us it looked like everyone was there! There also was not enough time at the stops to fully explore and appreciate the sights, and we were scared of being left again so that added unnecessary anxiety! I would not recommend to anyone for the ridiculous price you pay! Save your money!

Getting up close to the monuments at night was a great experience. The driver gave a very good narration. The hotel pick up and drop off made the tour very convenient.

This was the worst waste of $236 ever. The driver was rude and his driving was terrible. He kept blowing the horn at people that clearly had the right of ways. The air was broken and he kept telling us it was because it was a bus and hot outside. We are from the Deep South where we are very familiar with heat and humidity and have common sense enough to know when an AC is broken. Multiple questions and comments were asked and made regarding the air. It says you have opportunities to get off for 20 minutes at WW2 and Jefferson memorial. You do not. The website apparently has not updated the description of what is included. We got 9 minutes at the capitol and 15-20 min at the White House. We were told by him that we would have a bathroom break at 915. He did not let us stop until 945 after we asked about our stops and the restrooms. He refused to give us his name only his nickname of co-captain. Our party of 7 did not get back on the bus and called the company. They sent another bus to pick us up and he was kind and apologetic and the bus had ice cold air. Once back at the drop off the original bus returned and only 2 passengers of 17 were left. Everyone else had gotten off as well. Our entire purpose of taking a bus tour at night was to keep the older mother in our party from having to walk in the heat. This was ridiculous. Do not recommend at all!

Tour guide Bobby is the highlight!

Although the sights were spectacular, especially once it became dark, our tour guide Bobby was the absolute highlight! We’d go back & do it all over again if we knew we could request Bobby! So much fun!!

The van was hot. Air conditioner does not work good. For price of tickets they could afford a new air conditioner. He was a very rough driver.

Good but a few bumps
Christopher_F
, Jul 2022
Our tour guide/driver was great but he was the senior guy in a 4 van team and the company overbooked the tour. We didn’t leave till 8pm. Also the waiting at a few stops extra time for people to return isn’t great 2 people on the last stop didn’t return and we were back at 11:10pm. Should have a way to text with drivers

If you’re a Democrat, it was OK.

, Jun 2022
The driver was very politically motivated. Many times during the tour he felt the need to express his own political believes and even at one time stated that he didn’t care if anyone else was in opposition to that. I understand we are in DC, but I was on a sightseeing tour to absorb some history and some local flavor, not the ramblings of a bus driver. Tell me about the history show me the sites, that is what I paid for.

Best way to see the monuments!!!

Co-Captain was nice. But the belt on our van broke at our first stop. Luckily there was another bud there that added us to their tour. The tour guide (whose name I can’t recall but he’s from Ukraine) was informative and kind. The sites were outstanding, of course. The Korean War Memorial is absolutely breathtaking at night - the best way to view it, for sure! The only bummer was that we didn’t stop at the Jefferson Memorial, which we thought was on the itinerary. (Perhaps this was because of switching busses?)

We Did not take the tour. The driver was condescending and rude when we asked a question. We got off the bus. Tour was misrepresented under Segway tours. We thought the bus was taking us to the Segway location but it is just a bus tour. The bus was old, hot, and the seats were small. We are in the process of getting our money back.
