Floating & Railway Market, Coconut & Salt farm from BKK [Pickup +Multi-language]

We had such a wonderful time on this tour with Lin! She was so knowledgeable and gave us a ton of information about the markets and farms. It was so awesome to enter the railway market on the train itself and the floating market was really fascinating. Thank you so much!

Both markets were great, perhaps the floating market felt too much like a tourist setup. Short visits to the coconut and salt farm too. Please be aware these locations were about 90km outside Bangkok, so lots of travel time. Wished more information would have been given during the tour.

Our guide spoke very well English and had a very good knowledge of Bangkok and the floating market. They pick us on time at the hotel, and drove us to the train station which is one hour from Bangkok without traffic. The journey on the train was 30mins. The market was very busy and we had time to walk around. Very cheap compared to Europe. Floating market was an experience in itself that I will do again and highly recommend to anyone visiting Bangkok. It is not something we see in our day to day life. It’s very impressive and emotional at the same time. We had time to walk around the market on mainland. Our guide took us to the coconut 🌴 farm and gave us syrup directly from the plant. It was delicious. They brought us back to our hotel. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. The tour itself is value for money, everything in the description is correct. I would suggest using a tour guide rather than trying to get there by yourself. You will end up spending more. Very good tour, great experience with lovely people.

We had a wonderful guide Oakky. We would like to thank him for the smooth, safe and enjoyable journey. His calm demeanor, friendliness n level of chattiness made us feel comfortable. Also thumbs up to the tour agent who readily answered my booking queries via WhatsApp late at night. The tour agent went extra mile to accommodate my request. Appreciate! Tourism is slowly picking up. The floating market and railway market were not yet as vibrant and crowded as before during our time of travel. However, we enjoyed the relaxing tour, minus the overwhelming crowd n rush. This tour is definitely recommended for everyone who wants to spend a day out of city life of bangkok in a fuss free way.

Such a great day for good value. Our guide was really great at explaining about the culture and different sights we came across. We saw a lot of different stuff and had a great time. I would 10/10 recommend !

This tour is a really good way to see and explore Thailand, I would recommend it if you’re in Bangkok. Lin, our tour guide, was full of energy and very knowledgeable about Thai culture. She explained everything regarding the tour and also shared extra knowledge like other destinations worth visiting, the meaning behind the Thai flag, history of the monarchy and meanings of various Buddha symbols, which were all interesting. Lin was kind and confident and wanted to ensure we all had a good time. If you’re in Thailand for a limited amount of time and looking to tick a few tourist destinations, this is the best way to do it. Things like knowing what times to visit the Railway market in order to see the train are much simpler when you have a guide. Also accessing the floating market by boat was super cool and I don’t know if we would have experienced that had we chosen to go by ourselves We went with the group tour which had 6 people in total, a very comfortable group size. I don’t think choosing the private tour is necessary. The tour is quite unique with stop offs at the coconut sugar factory and salt farm, both quite interesting. This tour is for people that want to see and explore Thailand and not just to shop for souvenirs - although there are loads along the way!
