We were the only couple there since Thailand is still opening due to covid. It was a great one on one experience. Our teacher showed us how to make a total of 5 dishes each (we each got to choose our own 5). Favorites were a chicken stir fry and Pad Thai. Definitely recommend if you're looking to learn how to make some authentic dishes.

Had an excellent time, chef Letty walked us through how to prepare everything and gave tips on how to substitute ingredients in our home countries. Market tour was a little boring, but cooking class more than made up for it.

Great experience. Easy meet and greet and then to the market to learn about fresh Thai ingredients that are used in everyday dishes. Then off to the cooking class, which was great. Very informative and easy to follow instructions, plus the food was amazing. All cooked from scratch by our very own hands!

Cooking class was great. Everything well prepared for us. Lots of direction for cooking, back ground information shared on the ingredients and culture. Great staff and so helpful. Mike and I had a wonderful time at this cooking class. The classes were well structured and we each got to cook five Thai dishes which included Massaman Curry, Pad Thai, Tom Yum, Chicken Cashew, Black Pepper Beef and several more besides as well as Mango Sticky Rice which was gorgeous. The Chefs were amazingly patient with us both as we are just very ordinary cooks without fancy knife skills or any in-depth knowledge of Thai spices or chillies. We pounded up red curry paste and green curry paste so we were able to tailor each of the dishes we made to a heat that was perfect for us. Prior to the cooking class we were met by a lovely young lady who gave us a tour of the fresh produce market behind the cooking academy and explained the different vegetables and how they are used in Thai cooking, and how their individual flavours contributed the end dish. We would so recommend that everyone who comes to Thailand does this cooking class if only to develop a better understanding of the people and the culture. And the food was yum, yum, yummy....😋

We met our our guide at near the On Nut train station on the BTS network. The Cooking Academy was only a 5 minute walk away. We had a brief tour in the market place to witness, handle and smell the produce we will be using in the cooking class. We then made our way into the Bangkok Thai Cooking Academy. It is a very clean environment and hygiene a priority. Our work benches all prepared for the 5 dishes we were going to make. We met our master chef. She was excellent. Her lessons were well structured and timed to perfection. Remember our class was not all making the same dishes. Everything we made was then consumed by us as a lunch or dinner. If you have a genuine interest in cooking and you want to learn about Thai food and how to put it together the right way then do not leave Bangkok until you experience this class. I can highly recommend this class.

The tour as a chef was not what I expected but was fun. I have had much better Thai food and the trip to the market I feel was lacking creativity. What was fun was the different cultures of people who were there and sharing great conversation with them. The host and her cohorts were nice and through. Just okay.

We really enjoyed our class! Our teacher, Lek, was very funny and knowledgeable. The class was super well-organized. Prior to going, I was seriously wondering how every student was going to be able to choose their own dishes, but they had everything prepped according to the dishes you chose, and Lek orchestrated everything smoothly. The food was SOOOO good, and we had tons leftover which they helped us pack to-go in little plastic baggies. Highly recommend this class. Although Lek said you don't have to take notes during the class, I would recommend taking notes -- we tried recreating some of the dishes and we forgot some of the steps as the recipe instructions are not super in-depth.

We learned a lot about how to cook different types of Thai food and about some of the local produce we were using. The instructor was very informative and the others were very friendly and fun! We made SO MUCH FOOD!!!! My husband and I each picked different dishes, so were able to try a bunch of different dishes! Would definitely recommend!

We had a great time. Everything was so organized. Chef was great, she was funny and patient with all of us! She had plenty of helpers to make sure each of us could get assistance when needed. All the ingredients were fresh and made from scratch. We even ground the spices ourselves. I don’t even really like to cook but it was so much fun making our own meals! We were given all of the recipes to be able to make them at home. Great class

Started with a tour of a local market near the cooking school. It was interesting, the guide explained to us what many of the different herbs and spices were, trying to smell the differences between many of them. We then took a short walk to the cooking school. There was a ton of assistance (I am all thumbs in the kitchen) to make sure that we didn't stray to far off course. We made 5 dishes, that were quite frankly all delicious. My daughter (11) claims that this lunch was better than one of the dinners we had at a Michelin restaurant during our stay (it was great, but maybe not *THAT* great). We have done guided cooking class tours in multiple locations. This was easily the best food of them all. The only thing to note, is that the school was not well air-conditioned (there was AC, it just wasn't great) and that Bangkok is unbelievably hot in May. Be prepared for that.

Great cooking class if you go to Thailand with sort time or don’t have much money to spend on a 200 dollars class. The cooking place and market were 2 block away from BTS station. Our host was gracious and patient. Great dish selection to learn. A very nice experience.
