We loved it!

A wonderful experience! Every exhibit E dry inch of this museum is absolutely a must see! From Sue to world of color to underground and animal exhibit plus the mummies! Wow! We’re definitely going back!
Cool but needs better communication
, Jun 2022
Really awesome place. The tickets and museum do need to be more clear about what all access gets you and where it is within the museum. Not sure I did anything worth the extra money because it wasn’t clear at the museum what o had paid for as “all access “.

Sue! I did not know that the T-Rex was found on in 1990. Amazing discovery. Great Chicago experience.

Field museum is awesome, my kids love dinosaurs exhibit. It’s family place, can easily spend all day
Pathetic experience
, May 2022
Pathetic experience. Although the museum as such is good and has tons to see, the staff is laid back, unprofessional and does not communicate with guests clearly. We got the all access pass which includes a 3D movie and 2 ticketed exhibits, but at the time of entry we were not provided the tickets for the movie. As a result, when we reached the movie theater, the staff did not let us in and asked us to go back to the main gate to get the tickets. We went back to the main gate, but were again sent back to the theater saying we would be issued the tickets on the spot. This back and forth cost us 30 mins and we still did not get to see the movie. Moreover, this wastage of time also resulted in us not being able to see the other ticketed exhibits that we had already paid for.

Thank you for visiting the Museum. We appreciate your taking the time to leave us feedback. We were sorry to hear that your expectations were not met and we have refunded your party the cost of the tickets for the movie. We hope on your next visit you will experience one of our 3D movie options.
From worms to T-Rex lots to see and experience

We had young children who are both under 5 so they loved the underground adventure. I enjoy seeing Sue and the Movie was excellent. Two of us have limited mobility so getting into the building was a challenge from the parking garage. We figured out where to be picked up so that helped
My day at the museum

I mis scheduled a visit...
, Apr 2022
I mis scheduled a visit for the same day. No one could help me change the date of my visit. I lost $118.00 and no one seemed to care enough to help me. The system is a scam.

3-d movies, the lion from Sovoh and the Egyptian area! Actually to many things to name. Will definitely come back because I didn’t get to see everything.
That made his birthday so special

Seeing my dads face light up when he came in the building! Such a great place to visit!! The elephants in the main lobby were amazing to see
Good experience, missing...
, Oct 2021
Good experience, missing a tour guide. Going exhibit to exhibit was confusing. No one way to go, so made it easy to miss exhibits. Foods expensive but overall a great place.
Blissful Experience
, Sep 2021
What a wonderful, educational experience! We thoroughly enjoyed touring the museum and leisurely exploring different exhibits. The mammals exhibit and Nature Walk were especially well designed and the animals looked as through they could be living and breathing in their glass enclosures. It was absolutely fantastic!
Very well done! Lots of variety

The underground, the Egyptian exhibit and the Titanasauras/ 3D movie were our favorites. The bistro food was average.

Earth and history buffs

Only if you or our family is into true history or every animal ( above and below ground) and want to see what the look like, save your time for other attractions that the city has to offer. Nothing against the museum just not our cup of tea to enjoy.

Amazing museum. Good for an entire day because it is enormous. Well equiped for children as well with plenty of information with easy audio and reading.
Must see when in Chicago
, Jul 2021
The Field Museum is a must-go-to stop when traveling to Chicago. We enjoy the temporary exhibits but there is so much to see that if you have never been, the general ticket will still give you a whole day’s experience. Our favorite section is of course the dinosaurs and Sue but we also spent a lot of time in the Pacific Islands exhibit and gems. There is something for everyone there.
