After passing through picturesque areas like County Tipperary and County Kildare, arrive at the ancient fortress of Blarney Castle, famed for one of Ireland’s best-loved treasures, the Blarney stone. Ascend to the castle’s tower to kiss the Blarney stone and receive, according to legend, the skill of speaking in a charming and eloquent manner.

Travel onward to Cahir Castle and the Rock of Cashel in County Tipperary. Hear the legends that surround the imposing twin towers of the cathedral and take a guided tour of the structure’s Hall of Vicars and Cormac’s Chapel, home to the oldest Romanesque wall painting in Ireland.

Return to the coach for the journey back to Dublin, where the tour concludes.

The Blaney castle is a wonderful experience. To learn about it's history , to walk the grounds, and to kiss the Blarney Stone was collectively awesome!

Nice time at Blarney Castle

Tour of Blarney Castle and Rock of Cashel we’re great. The weather was cold and rainy but that’s all part of it. The tour of Cork city was a little dry and I would’ve rather foregone that to have more time at Blarney Castle since that seemed a little rushed. Liam the driver was great. All in all it was a good tour and I’d do it again.

Interesting but scary driver

Trip was good once we arrived at Blarney. Long drive, smallish van type bus. Uncomfortable due to fact driver L..m was filling his vape pen while driving. Felt the tires hit the ridged wake up tiles more than once. Shame.

Rob our tour guide was great. He maximised the time to pack in as much as possible. And when the weather had forced the closure of 2 sites, he came up with an alternative option which worked out nicely.

This was a lovely small-group tour of the West/South parts of Ireland. Derrick, our tour guide and driver, was excellent. We absolutely loved seeing Blarney Castle, the Rock of Cashel, and Cahir Castle. The pace was excellent for a small group, and Derrick had great historical tidbits to share with us. Only great things to say about this tour! Highly recommended!

Great day out with a great driver
Lyndel E
, Dec 2019
Despite terrible weather (rain and high winds and threat of closures), driver Rob gave everyone on the small bus a great day out. He gave us some great views that wouldn't have been possible from the larger bus, sang to us, was very informative and even offered us invaluable advice on driving out of Dublin airport the next day. Enjoyed our visit to all 3 very different castles. Bad weather meant small crowds, no queues and great timing (although I can see that in peak time it could be a little tight).
