Not impressed with this tour. It may be because it was pouring rain. The guide had no energy, just walked around for 90 minutes and he stopped 5-6 to tell a story. We walked pass and lot of interesting sites and he had nothing to say. Expected much better, not worth your time.

John is a walking encyclopedia about the history of the Easter Rising 2016, and of events leading up to it over the centuries in Ireland. We found his tour fascinating, and since there were only two of us, John was able to find places for my husband to sit occasionally and continue the tour. We've been in Dublin many times, but had spent little time on the north side, so this was particularly interesting and eyeopening for us. We saw many sights that were new to us and learned a lot. Highly recommend to those interested in Irish history.

Great intro to the North side and the history. Well presented with lots of stories but I did think at the end I was suffering a bit from info overload ! But that might have also been the jet lag !

Fantastic tour, the guide I think his name was Carl/Karl was very passionate and had the gift of the gab, pointed out at various points along the tour information and historical events. Well worth a visit. Its a fair amount of walking taking approx 2 hours and both sides of the Liffey are visited, ending in the famine sculptures. The guide really brought history to life, was very friendly and informative. Highly recommend.

Great tour with Carl J. Rain didn't slow us down and we went to many of the 1916 Rebellion spots. Its one thing to learn about the struggles of the Irish people for a history book and quite another to walk in some of those footsteps listening to a lovely Irish accent explain with gr,eat feeling, what happened. Thanks Carl and viator
