The guide with his Charme, his stories, and his liveliness helped me forget my loss for a few hours. The first stop I liked the most. I also enjoyed the walking as it uncles corners had not gotten to on my own.

Bert was very enthusiastic about the food and drink we sampled. His enthusiasm was contagious. Great tour with quite a bit of walking - which was fine with us.

Definitely worth the time. We had a nice variety of tastings that were all deliciously authenitc! It felt like a tour within a tour — our guide was knowledgable about the city's history as well as the food. He was very personable and patient and provided great recommendations for the rest the stay! Did not go away hungry....

Great stories and depth of knowledge on local restaurants. Our guide Skye was extremely knowledgeable and recommended a few more restaurants to try and I surely tried them out! Some of the "historian" tour guides can become very dry. Despite of all the knowledge that he had, I soaked up all the info and surely enjoyed all the food. Thank you!

The guide was pretty knowledgeable and professional, but the tour is very overpriced. I’ve been to many tours in other countries and this one the most unreasonable one

I am giving an honest critique. Skye was a very nice guide but needs to understand that there were several in our group who questioned why he had not prearranged our food tour with local restaurants. We were turned away at establishments because there were no available seats for our group due to lack of reservations. This was somewhat embarrassing. We did end up at several places (Skye admited never having been to but thought they would be good), and we were able to have a nice meal, snack, dessert and drinks. Skye was good about showing us different places. We did run a bit late on our tour and crunched for time for our next activities. All in all we went with the flow and had a great time and met some wonderful people, including Skye. I hope people still sign up for this tour as it was ultimately alot fun, it just needs a bit of tweaking.

Our tour guide was Carlos and he was exceptionally pleasant. Our tour was small which was nice. We tried several Scottish delicacies, whiskey, freshly made fudge and had scones and tea! The tour is expensive, but my partner (whose birthday it was) loved it and I would definitely recommend it. Carlos was a great tour guide and was very friendly with great stories and knowledge! I will definitely be recommending the tour!

Really had a great time exploring the streets of Edinburgh and trying out the varying foods. Carlos the guide was great and had a lot of interesting facts. Food was good, but unlikely close to the price of the tour. Still really enjoyed!

The food tour was very well designed. It had a variety of offerings, including light and heavy food, dessert, tea, and whiskey. I was especially surprised by the Haggis we ate. It was excellent. The tour included a variety of stories about Edinburgh and information on good places to shop. We would do the tour again.

The walking tour included stories which had not been told in the more standard tours on The Royal Mile and the castle. Stops where made at 6 different restaurants/cafés. The guide was confident with a good portion humour! Worthwhile to spend your time and money on!
