Amazing experience! YOU NEED TO GO!

The guide was extremely helpful, friendly, and approachable. Definitely worth the trip!! 2nd time attending.
Amazing Ice Cave Tour
, May 2020
A must for anyone visiting the Mt. Fuji area. My guide Tada was very knowledgeable and friendly. The cave itself is huge and you get to explore it in its entirety. Time did fly by and I wish the tour lasted just a little bit longer.
Unique sportive trip through an awesome icecave with a great tourguide.

After being picked up at the station, we got coverals. The advice was to wear warm coats, but I would suggest to wear a sweater and leave your coat in the car, as it can be hot if you are not used to climbing over rocks. After a beautiful walk through the forest, with nice information about the surroundings and the wildlife, the decent into the ice cave begins. The guide leads the way through the dark cave, over patches of ice and rocks, between beatiful ice stalagmites and stalactites. With warnings and guidance, we got to a ice plain in the cave. It was an extremely cool trip for us.
One of the highlights of my Japan trip!

Would highly recommend this experience for anyone! Tada was a great guide, had excellent communication and was an expert. 10/10!
Best Tour Ever
, Feb 2020
This trip was the highlight of our vacation to Japan. The Aokigahara Forest was a beautiful sight to behold in the winter and the ice cave exploration was amazing. Our guide Tadasuke was the best. He speaks fluent english and explained everything to us. The tour was super personal as it was only my husband and myself. That day. We also lucked out as it was a beautiful +16C day and we also got to see Mount Fuji. We highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to truly remember Japan. Thanks Tadasuke! You are the best.
Great experience!!

We had a fantastic time exploring the ice cave and walking through the forest with our guide, Tada. He was careful to ensure that we were never in any danger despite the tricky terrain. He was patient and had many entertaining stories, as the forest was his playground. Logistics-wise, everything went perfectly too. We were offered hotel pick up and drop off, and all gear was provided. We only needed a good jacket to keep us warm and good trekking shoes that were waterproof.
An experience not to be missed!

Such an amazing experience! Definitely a highlight of our trip to Mt Fuji! Tada was a fantastic and knowledgeable guide and an all round cool guy. This is one tour that should be on your list. We only wish we had more time to do other trek’s/tours with Tada.

Amazing experience with the best tour guide. He picked us up from the hotel and drove us privately to the first. Was beautiful and such a friendly guide.
Couldn’t have asked for a better tour!

Tada was an amazing tour guide - he’s super knowledgeable about Aokigahara Forest and the Ice cave and has an amazing humour which made the whole experience so enjoyable. Tada is very experienced and made sure we were all good, provided all the safety gear and showed that he really knows what he’s doing. The tour was super fun, especially if you love the tranquility of forests and nature. Absolutely recommend to anyone of all ages.

We got super lucky to have Tada as our tour guide. He was super friendly, on time and very knowledgeable about Mt Fuji and surrounding areas. I would highly recommend this hike to anyone. We learned a lot and had fun. Tada made sure we put safety first.
Amazing experience

The entire experience was amazing. He picked us up at our hotel drop us off after the tour so it was very convenient. Finally it was just us 3 so we had all of his attention and could ask as many questions as we’d like. The guide was really interesting and taught us a lot about the forest and the caves. The ice cave was really nice, especially the blind minute in 100% darkness. Loved it and recommend it !

Tada was such a fantastic guide for our time exploring the Ice Cave in Aokigahara. We were very impressed with his knowledge of the area, and his willingness to share his personal experiences as well. The forest and cave are both absolutely stunning, and very cool to see. We had a fabulous time and will definitely be in contact with Tada on our return to do this tour again, or to climb Mount Fuji. Thank you, Tada-san!

I was the only oNe! The tour guide was very patient with me. It was enjoyable but not the climbing down part.
A peek at something wonderful
, Oct 2019
Tada was a wonderful guide - he taught us a lot about the history and growth patterns of the forest, the way people work in it today (and just a little of why it has a spooky reputation ... which is not relevant to the ice cave!). He also explained why the formation of the lava makes the forest dangerous off the trail, and the history of people in the cave ... which was all new to me. We went in fall, which is minimum ice; I think I would also like to go back at the end of winter for maximum ice! Our group was small and fairly brave and capable, but it was clear that Tada and the team were also prepared for larger groups, even children, and those who might be afraid of the (moderate) climbs down or the dark. We were very safe with him.
Very Good Tour Guide
, Oct 2019
I really enjoyed this activity. The guide Tada is really very good. Even 2 of the participants have cancelled the tour and i am the only one left, he still gave me a "private personal" tour and brought me through the whole tour. Very well trained as he brought me into the cave and explaining to me the formation of the cave and the forest. Very helpful as he took photos for me using his camera inside the dark cave and forwarded me all the photos. Definitely a tour to explore and hopefully Tada will be your tour guide.
Amazing experience
, May 2019
Was guided by Tada in the afternoon session and could not have asked for a better experience. After booking he messaged me telling where to meet him on the day and even gave directions to get there from Tokyo. On the day me and my partner went and waited for him at the meeting point, when he came he informed us that the other people who had booked cancelled last minute so it was just us on the tour. And it was amazing! So lucky it was only us as we had all the time in the world and weren't rushed. He even took some amazing pictures for us and emailed us them later on that same day! Honestly could not recommend Tada enough! He is an asset to any tour company!!!
Fun experience... great guide

This was a good chance to visit part of Mt Fuji. The forest was beautiful and the caves were fascinating. They were something I’ve never seen before. I recommend highly.

Tada (our tour guide) was top notch. Extremely professional, perfect Japanglish, and very knowledgeable about anything and everything in the area.Such a beautiful place to live, and he shows it all to you. When I return to Japan one day I will do this again! (Side note; wear some sturdy shoes, the cave is VERY slippery and requires a bit of climbing down.)

Wow -- what a great tour! This was such a highlight of our trip, Toshi was wonderful and an excellent guide, after picking us up from our hotel we were taken to a carpark with a great view of Mt Fuji to get changed. He then brought us to the incredible Aokigahara forest where he gave us a history of the area and the forest's creation while walking us through and pointing out the peculiarities and features of the forest. Then came the decent into the ice-cave which was an experience I'll never forget, what an awesome place! All the while Toshi was making sure we were comfortable and safe whilst still being informative and congenial. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting the area, it's a unique and fantastic experience.

My son and I LOVED this tour!! It was one of our favorite activities in Japan. Tada was an awesome tour guide! He is so friendly, personable, funny, and helpful! He was born and raised in the area, so he really knows his stuff. Tada picks you up at Kawaguchiko station and then drives you to an area to change into your gear. There's a restroom there, in case you need it. Then he drives you to the forest. His enthusiasm for the Aokigahara forest is contagious. It was a beautiful day when we went, and the sun shining down through all the trees was just breathtaking! Tada takes time to give you interesting information about the forest, and there is time for photos as you walk. Then comes the cave! You climb down into this amazing lava tube. It is full of ice, in patterns I've never seen before. It's pitch black inside, except for your headlamps. Thank goodness we got helmets, gloves, and overalls! I hit my head 6 times climbing around on the rocks - but it never hurt! It's very cold in the cave, so the overalls and gloves kept us super comfortable. There is a lot of history in that cave, and Tada explains everything. He also took photos that he later shared with us. I will treasure these photos of my son and I sharing this experience. I cannot say enough how much we enjoyed this tour! It was absolutely amazing and I will never forget how much fun we had!!
