Real Vietnam Bicycle Tour from Hoi An

Our tour commenced at the bike shop with an intro by our guide. She spoke English well and it wasn't long before we began cycling through the streets of Saigon to our ferry. About 40 minutes in the boat took us to the first of 5 islands that we cycled through. The terrain varied as we cycled along a variety of roads, paths and tracks. We passed rice fields, water Buffalo, witnessed rice being processed, tasted rice wine, ate a local but tasty lunch and interacted with many locals. This trip offers a chance to get up close and personal with local Vietnamese. We cycled almost 30kms over flat but varied terrain.Great trip and highly recommended.

What a truly wonderful day we had! My sister and I did this Bike Tour together and had an incredible experience. We started the day near the Ancient Town in Hoi an where we met our guides for the day Quick nickname and Tam. They really made the day special. We then set off after boarding a wooden boat with our bikes. Once on the island we toured for 23 kms over old rickety bridges, through rice fields walk your bike through if you're not confident as the path is very narrow I fell into the rice field bike and all and ended up really muddy. Not fun at the time but we're laughing about it now. We saw water buffalos grazing, rice paper making ladies making grass mats, a rice wine distillery in one of the villages , how a bamboo fishing basket is made and then we were able to have a go at manoeuvring the basket boat in the water with the help of Sexy Lady! Nickname she was so entertaining we were in stitches. During all this we stopped for lunch in a village and we were able to choose between meat and vegetarian meals and finished off with some beautiful local fruit. Admittedly the day was challenging for us due to the heat and I have never perspired so much in my life. We were literally dripping the whole day. The guides were very easy on us and most of them do this ride 6 days a week so once I heard that I thought well I can definitely do it for one day. Although we we relieved when the day was over we were feeling exhilarated that we actually did it!

This was so dope. Long ride, but so rewarding. Really enjoyed it. The guides were exceptional, went far beyond the call of duty. Can't recommend this highly enough. 20 stars!

Nice balance of biking and transfers by boat. A couple of stops at local artisans mat weaving and rice liquor production. Both very interesting and with enough time to enjoy. the guides were super explaining what we saw and keeping us on a schedule and keeping us safe. I've done several bike outings this one was more of a leisurely stroll slow pace and really no hills to climb. Recommended for a good one-day outing and probably a great outing with youngsters.

By far one of the best tours I've been on. A beautiful ride through the countryside, stunning landscape. Great lunch and I didn't suffer any GI illnesses . I am not in the best of shape and while there were occasional rough patches, there was nothing I felt was too difficult. Thanks to Moon and Lucky, easily two of the most enthusiastic and funny tour guides I've had!

This was our favourite trip during all our time in Vietnam. We thoroughly enjoyed the boat rides, the cycling through small villages, rice fields,etc and the lunch was delicious. Our guides were excellent, gave us great information and were lots of fun. The handicrafts we witnessed were an interesting element. Be warned though, the cycling can be challenging on some of the rough terrain, round the paddy fields and especially on the floating and bamboo bridges. Also it's a long day and the heat and humidity were intense so be sure to have sunscreen with you and maybe a hat. Plenty of water was provided to us. Definitely would not have wanted to miss this one though. Great value for money.

One of the highlights of our trip. A great mix of real Vietnam- boat, cycling, villages, bamboo bridges, local crafts rice paper/rice wine/mat weaving/basket boat/small boat yard and a very tasty lunch. Great guides Nhum and Happy who were full of fun with a wicked sense of humour. Small group 8no. was perfect.

Best tour we had in Vietnam! Didn't seem like we rode that far as the pace was easy with plenty of stops and the terrain flat. Our guide was fabulous. So enjoyed getting away from the crowds in town and into the farming areas.

this full day tour is more suitable for more fit people. Im thin and I rarely exercise and I struggled to keep. We had a lot of breaks in between but its still tiring. Our tour guide Hoa was very informative, very funny and I commend her for for being helpful to all the tourists in the group. The full day tour is still very adventurous and a great way to see country life in Vietnam.
