Orange Bay Island VIP Full Day Snorkeling Sea Trip and Water Sports - Hurghada

We had an amazing day, the boat trip was awsome, the island great, but the best part was really the snorkeling. The crew was exelent, the guys were nice and helpfull at all times. Thank you very much for this unforgetable adventure.

Amazing experience, the crew was great, very friendly, it exceeded our expectations, we thought it was going to be brief and not a quality trip because of the price, but no, we did everything promised(snorkeling 2x, orange bay, and banana) we even did parasailing for an extra 10$ per person (special offer). For women traveling alone, I did this with my friend and it was great, nobody was a creep, they were very respectful and we made 3 other women and became friends, because of the amazing vibes this crew has. The food was very good, and it was an unforgettable experience. Don’t hesitate to book, you will regret it! Please tip the crew members!!! I wish I brought more money to tip them because of their hard work and how safe and happy they made us feel!

We had a good time but we had to fight for what we paid for every step of the way. The water sports addition is a joke, we had literally 70 seconds sitting on the banana boat of which I think 30 seconds we were moving. We told the management on board and he said the next one would be longer... the lounge lasted a red hot 47 seconds! Woo! The snorkelling lasted less than half an hour at the first stop and we were told to get out. I have done a lot of scuba and snorkelling and always put my timer on so I know when to turn back. Again, we told management and he said we would have 45 minutes at the next stop. My timer was set again and we were told it was over at 28 minutes, 34 minutes and 38 minutes 😑 I got out of the water with 4 min 20 sec left on the clock just to stop the anxiety they were causing me. Plus the boat moved away while we were still in the water which gave us a flutter in the heart. Management was saying all the right things but the proof is in the outcome and the outcome was not what he promised at any stage. I asked not to be photographed and had to put my foot down with the management when he was taking a photo of me on his personal phone. I said no photos 3 times and he told me it was for him I had to be more forceful and tell him it was inappropriate and made me uncomfortable. I saw him delete the photo but it was still an ordeal I shouldn't need to go through. The variety of fish is amazing 👏 the health of the coral is not fantastic with some coral bleaching (world wide issue). The boats anchoring to the coral bommy was a little upsetting. Lunch on board was nice and varied with rice, noodles, fish, vegetables and salad. Giftun Island was lovely! The drinks there are priced for tourism (expensive) at 120 LE for a Stella beer. The facilities were pretty cool with a wooden tree house feel. We had a strip of semi shade with bean bags to sit on as an inclusion. Had a great time all things considered, I would go again. Just stand your ground and know what is included with your tour.

The trip was great with 2 snorkel stops (and banana boat and parasailing optional) The last stop was Orange Bay. The crew was amazing. Great and friendly guys. Mustafa was our team leader. We were on Mosallah boat. Music was great and food too.

Good overall, not great if you are only going for snorkelling. Food was ok, not much for vegetarians.

This was the most amazing trip, I HIGHLY recommend. I wish I could go on the same tour every day of my time in Hurghada, it was that good! Alaa is a great and energetic guide, as is the rest of the staff who was there serving food, taking us snorkeling, driving the boat, and keeping everyone safe and having fun. The pickup driver had some trouble finding the small hostel I was staying at, but the guides were extremely helpful and communicative over the phone and made sure we got picked up and to the boats on time. We stopped at Orange Bay on Giftun Island and paid $5 per person for the national park fee, and the island was gorgeous. Then we had the most delicious lunch of fish and salads and riceon the boat, and then went to two reefs for snorkeling. I was a first timer, but the guides helped me out! They were very knowledgeable about different fish species. Then we got to ride some inflatables behind speedboats, which was really fun! Just a heads up, it's about 30 euros or 600 LE if you want get the professional photos afterward (40 euros for photo + video), and you need to pay or put down a deposit in cash. So be prepared for that, or bring your own (waterproof) camera! I didn't share any of the professional photos here, but there were many fun posed ones and underwater snorkeling photos as well! I have been in Egypt for 3 months now, and Hurghada is the most beautiful place I've seen so far. This tour is my top experience in the country so far, too. If you're looking for a relaxing yet exciting day on the water, this is the activity to sign up for.

We were collected from our hotel at 7.30am by our lovely tour guide Allah and taken to the port to collect snorkel gear and wait for the rest of the passengers, before boarding the boat around 9am. You spend a long time on the boat, with us not getting back to our hotel until around 7pm which was much longer than specified. This would have been so much better if the weather was on our side, but it was very cold and windy on our chosen day, meaning we had to stay inside, through no fault of the staff. The snorkelling is well organised and you are guided by one of the crew who takes you to two reefs. The conditions for our trip meant the water was very choppy and cold and this made it really difficult to swim, even for an experienced swimmer, however again this was no fault of the tour operator or crew. You have two snorkel spots, so plenty of opportunity to be in the ocean and see the sealife - we even saw wild dolphins which was a lovely surprise! Orange bay is absolutely gorgeous and we enjoyed spending time there - this is a must. We were given 2 hours to go off freely, but this flew over and I would have preferred longer there as I felt we were constantly checking our watch. Water sports are also offered as part of this trip, which was a nice extra and lots of fun! There is a buffet provided which is plentiful - there was food such as salad, pasta, rice, vegetables and varying meats to choose from. The staff cannot do enough to accommodate you and soft drinks were provided throughout. All in all, we enjoyed our trip - the staff were attentive and polite and there was plenty to do within the trip, I just wish we had better weather on this occasion! I would 100% recommend booking, but be prepared it’s likely to be a much longer day than the specified time and check the weather before booking! :-)

It was really worth the money and we had such a great day. The staff is amazing and Hosssm really wants you to have enjoy. The pickup took a while but once at the boat the trip could start. The boat is very nice and has a lot of space in the sun or shade. We went to visit two snorkel spots and saw Nemo, Dory, rainbow fish and a huge eel. Luckily the seawater wasn't too cold and we had a warm day 28 celcius. They made a lunch onboard which was nice and tastefull; rice, potatoe, fish, chicken, beef and several salads. We bought the dvd of the trip and the pictures on a flashdrive. The quality isn't great but it was a nice memory. The trip itself doesnt cost much at all.
