Inverness by bike

The tour is wonderful! Richly guided with local, historic and socio-cultural knowledge. Cycling by the river and canal, taking in the sites, there is a nice balance between being on the bike and pausing to enjoy Inverness surroundings. Our tour guide Alison was ace! Big thanks for a memorable experience.

Alice is very informative and gets the group going and on keeps of on tract. We saw some lovely places along the road and the cycle was easy and manageable. The bikes are in good condition and there are baskets to put a bag into. We had good opportunities to take photos and she keeps us informed all along at specific points where she stops to tell us info.

This bike trip was a fantastic way to start our few days holiday in Inverness! Alison was a very informative and fun local guide who knew so much about the city, she suggested the best points to stop and give more information, as well as knowing the best places for photos! I loved how she knew so many of the locals as we cycled past which I think added to her genuine enjoyment of her job! A great and informative trip for any cycling ability and I will definitely recommend to friends and family who visit! Thanks Alison :)

Alison was our tour guide and has a good knowledge of the history of Inverness. The bike ride was gentle, no massive steep climbs. Highlight for our group of 3 was the stretch of cycling along the Caledonian Canal and viewing the canal locks.

Our first cycle tour and we LOVED it: Alison is fantastic - she knows everything about, and everyone in Inverness; so knowledgeable, enthusiastic, friendly and obviously loves what she does. A Must Do for anyone who can balance on a bike - there was a member of our tour who was not very confident on the bike, and the pace was so relaxed and Alison is so easy-going, there is no pressure to go at a rate of knots and “keep up” with anyone else. Go on Day 1 of your hols, (not the last day as we did 🙄), as you will definitely want to re-visit many of the places included in this tour. Loved this. Thank you Alison 😎

Brilliant cycling tour of Inverness city centre

A lovely bike tour by Alison, who was very knowledgable about Inverness & the history of the City. A lovely cycling pace, enabling you to have time to have a leisurely look at the surroundings as you cycled. Loved going around the city along the waterways & to the Botanical gardens. We would really recommend the tour as we learned & saw so much more than if we were just walking around the city. Thank you again Alison for a fantastic experience on Monday June 28th 2021 from Pauline & Ian
