Greet experience with a great instructor!

Was an awsome experience, I had 2 kids with me and he was very attentive to them, helped my 10 year old to understand all safety procedures. Then helped guide him without him feeling helped. He was very good at explaining what to expect. And even tried to rescue a pelican with fishing line stuck to him. I would recommend to anyone wanting to try scuba without certifications. Started from the beach until we were all comfortable with new equipment. We saw all kinds of fish, urchins, jellyfish, and a large eel in rocks.

Trigger needs a raise!!

From start to finish, it was amazing. Trigger, our guide, went above and beyond to be accommodating and very knowledgeable about diving. We hit some snags along the way with equipment but he managed it very well and we all had a great time. Will definitely be doing this again!

Absolutely LOVED IT!! Our scuba dive instructor trigger was so patient and if we had any questions or needed more time to get use to diving he was definitely patient w that. I saw so many different fish, reefs, coral, sea urchins and sea animines.

It was great! Our guide was very thorough and cared very much for our safety. We brought our 10 year old daughter and he held onto her tank the whole time, and she never even knew it haha!!! Wonderful experience.

Don’t be alarmed by the scary Van

Was unsure what to expect... started off a bit nervous thinking we were scammed! Pull off the side of the road and at the end was a broken down rusty van with stickers to Increase anxiety further. Then an older gentleman in a almost the same condition vehicle gets out and behind donning his diving equipment (assuming that was our “no certification needed instructor” my boyfriend and I were about to drive off and not go). Something said to just get out and explore the area! There was another group of people on the other side learning, and a young warm and friendly instructor! Our anxiety was calmed! We waited for our time to go and got in!! Our instructor was absolutely amazing! Put us right at ease! Donned an appropriate wetsuit, mask and into the ocean we went. In the water we put on the scuba gear and went through the safety lessons! Our instructor was absolutely the best!! Putting us at ease. If you can’t breathe out of your mouth and it’s not for you, you find out right away, and he picks up on it BEFORE attempting the initial dive. I was a little nervous at first however under water he reminded me to clear my ears, and look around! Was able to explore the beautiful reef! See some amazing fish and dive get down to the ocean floor!! This was one of the most amazing experiences while on vacation and couldn’t be more thankful for our amazing guide!! I can’t wait to come back and do it again!! Ps! The map will take you PAST the point of driving from Key West however you don’t need to go that far!! Google has you go on a long detour and do a U-turn...

Good for first timers

It is what the name suggests, Just to try scuba if you previously have never had any experience. Trigger is a really amazing guide, I reached the location late due to Google maps issue. Note if you are driving from key west, google maps will not show a left turn at this location and make you take a u turn after driving 24 kms all the way to Marathon. Don't expect to see much of the coral life. this would be pretty close to the shore and water would be murky. Lot's of fish and lobsters is what you'll see.

1st scuba dive

Interesting experience. Odd pulling into a lot and seeing a tattered van with a diving sign on the side. Our instructor put at as ease but an unexpected start indeed! Instructions given were concise and we went through a series of 'skills'. Our guide Trigger was attentive and knowledgeable. Unfortunately Horseshoe Beach is full of silt and visibility was so poor that we could barely see each other!! Should've been told prior to diving since this is a common issue in this location! A better location would've had us return but at least my kids enjoyed use of the equipment and did manage to see a lobster in the silt.Trigger was hilight, pleasant young man.
