David the tour guide was great and very informative, even offered to drop us off in the city instead of our hotel.
Great driver/guide who was well informed

Keep in mind Viator is a consolidator and hands off the actual tour to a 3 party. I have used their service twice for this tour. Once in 2018 and again last month 2020. Both times were acceptable but this most recent tour was exceptionally good. The driver/guide ,David, was very well informed with excellent communication skills. I think the actual Company was Travel and Tour Incentives. In any event, David should be complimented. The communication with pick up time etc. was prompt and courteous via text message. Much better then the first go around.

Wonderful guide. His knowledge wasn’t great but he did admit it. We had the best time looking at the 3 places. So much history there
Batu caves, pewter factory, silk garment factory
, Feb 2020
This was a fantastic tour prompt collection from our hotel, informative guide took us to the royal selengor pewter factory which was stunning, then onto silk garment factory before the highlight of the tour the batu caves, plenty of steps but can be done at your own pace and there are paces to stop and get great views back on the city, once at the top the temple and cave are spectacular, as expected the area at the back of the stairs has become very commercial for the tourists and you can pick up all types of souvenirs, the gold statue is an amazing picture, would recommend this tour

good experience

Well organized half day trip outside of KL with excellent side trips to the pweter factory and the pitik shop were wonderful. Learn a lot. The main attraction, Batu Cave was more a tourist trap than the rest. Overall enjoyable excuses to get out the city.
Caves Good other parts of the tour not so!

The Batu caves tour was good but only because of the cave itself, not the operator. tour guide a bit wishy washy on the tour due to local accent, the Batik place they took us to was overpriced compared to the rest of the city and to be frank pointless because no one was really interested in a) how it was made and b) interested in buying anything. The Pewter tour was good but could have been shorter giving more time at the caves. The caves were good and worth the visit but more time needed.
Great Tour

Great tour, at a great price. Had a lovely, knowledgeable guide with a wealth of knowledge. The excursion itself was fascinating. Would highly recommend!
