Choose a morning or afternoon departure, then meet a guide at your hotel for transfer to the first stop of the day, Kuching South City Council, Sarawak’s governing authority, and the seat of local government. You’ll get a view of Charles Brooke’s Fort Margherita from the waterfront, and continue on foot to the Kuching Civic Centre, a futuristic building with panoramic views of the surrounding city.

Itinerary
Build in 1870 by Charles Brooke as a bridal gift to his wife Margaret. Laid out in the style of an English manor house, it is the third and last residence build by the Brooke Rajahs and was occupied by the reigning Rajah until the Japanese Occupation in 1941.

Sarawak State Legislative Assembly Building , the nine storey building is where 82 elected state assemblymen meet and preside over debates and the passing of laws. It is fully equipped with high tech information and communication technology. Described as one of the most Asia beautiful buildings in Southeast Asia with its distinctive payung (umbrella) roof, it is an iconic landmark for Sarawak.
