It was very interesting to see the Amish wedding, differences in homes, and the one room school houses. I enjoyed the places where we stopped as well. I feel that I learned a lot, and our tour guide, David, is very knowledgeable and did a great job.

If it wasn’t for the bus tour it probably wouldn’t be worth it , not elder people accessible, too much walking at farm

Thank you for your feedback! We are so happy to be the only Amish bus tour with a wheelchair accessible bus. This makes our tour accessible to everyone. Our 1805 farmhouse of course has a big flight of stairs, but it's a good thing that the farm is paved and easy to walk on. For others who are planning to visit, we have wheelchairs available for those who have trouble walking a lot.

I’ve lived here all my life and never took one of these tours. I’m 66 and it turns out I learned some things I didn’t know about the Amish. Very friendly tour guide (Lisa), made the whole experience interesting and fun. We went on the premium package tour and it was worth it.

We love reading these types of reviews. We always say that our tours are for everyone, locals or foreigners! We're happy you had fun, learned a lot and enjoyed the trip with Lisa. If you're local, you should think about joining us for our Christmas Cookie Tour starting in December!

AMISH FARM/ premium tour

We had bus #1 with Anne, she took as along the Amish' local areas gave us a lot of interesting facts and info abut their daily, routine life and some history too. We stopped at few places and stands and beautiful hand made quilt's store 😍-its an artwork! Each quilt is handcrafted within about 600 hours of work!!! Unbelievable. After bus ride we had a tour of an Amish house, also very informative and self guided tour of the farm where the school is, we got lost in corn maze, visited all farm animals and had fun riding "their" scooters 😄😄😄

The package tour

The van ride was very good; our driver was very friendly and knowledgeable about the Amish people and their live style. It was a beautiful ride through the local countryside and two stopped we made were at very nice shops. The house tour of the church area, kitchen and two bedrooms was informative. The working farm is more for children. The families I saw there seemed to enjoy it, but it was my least favorite part of the package being an adult. If I had to do it over I would have only done the van ride, it is well worth the money.

A great experience to learn about and view the Amish People of Lancaster PA. Our tour bus guide was exceptional and friendly and the stops along the way enchanced our tour. Our tour guide at the Amish House was very knowledgeable. We highly recommend taking this tour. You won't regret it. The Soft baked pretzels the best as well as the birch root beer
