Declan is an informative and entertaining guide who gets you involved in the walk and makes you think. You get to see alleys in London that you'd normally just walk past and learn about horrifying events, which is what we go for!! You'll need to feel fit as he walks fast and it last 2 hours, so it's also a good workout :-) If you've already bought his great book Bloody London, don't forget to take it with you for him to sign...

Declan was our host on this very different and interesting walk through a part of London, near Holborn Station, that isn't being covered by the Ripper Murder Tour people. He is vastly more informed about the murders he covers than was the guy who hosted the Ripper tour I did last year, which, predictably, took place in Whitechapel. Declan likes to ask questions of his group, realizing that we may also have ideas to offer. At one point we sat down and discussed the cases. Really good. Only getting four stars because I wanted it to last longer!
