Afternoon tea with a view

Oh my gosh, this afternoon tea service was perfect for me! During the Christmas season, the bus is all decked out for the holiday, and the decorations are wonderful! The food and the tea were delightful as well, and the staff were extremely attentive and friendly. I had so much fun listening to the Christmas music playing in the bus while drinking my tea and looking around at the lights and outdoor decorations around central London. The only caution I would give people is to not think of this too much as a tour; its really about having afternoon tea on a vintage double-decker bus. There is recorded audio that gives a bit of information about what you're passing, but at least on my tour, that audio only came on maybe 5 times over the 90 minute ride. This didn't bother me at all, as I've been on bus tours of London on previous visits. But if you've not been to the city before, don't think that this tour will kill two birds with one stone: tea plus a city tour. It's primarily about the tea (and sandwiches and pastries, of course), which it does exceptionally well.

Bye and good tea. David M.
