Best way to see Macau
FarAway48816073077
, May 2019
We stayed in Macau for 4 nights. There is almost nothing to do in Macau unless you are a high roller gambler (£100 minimum bets on Blackjack and Roulette), virtually no bars or shows on the Coati Strip. Vegas it's not... HOWEVER, this trip was great. We saw all the best things in Macau and our Guide (Mario) was a native Portuguese and was a fantastic guide. We saw the old Temple, St Paul's, sampled some street food and had a good buffet lunch. I'd recommend this trip as the best (only) thing to do in Macau...

Old Portugal in China

The tour was excellent and educational - the group was small enough so as to ask questions and hear the guide. Quite an enjoyable day learning about the Portuguese influence on Macau and at the same time having a wonderful introduction to Chinese culture.

Great Day Tour with excellent tour Guide
FarAway48816073077
, May 2019
We had a few days in Macau and wanted to start off with a tour of all the main sites and in particular the Portuguese and Historic sites. We were picked up on time at the Taipa Ferry terminal, there were 44 on the tour but the Bus was comfy, and the guide, Mario, was excellent. We saw the temple, St Pauls, had an excellent buffet lunch, sampled some local street food and had a trip to the Venetian Hotel. We also stopped at the Macau observation tower and saw a brave bungy jumper take the plunge! Great Tour, we'd recommend it.

Worst pick up arrangement
Venture33896448332
, Dec 2018
I have used Viator for many sightseeing tours in the past including tours in Vietnam and Singapore. However, the pick up arrangement for the Macau City Tour was the worst that I have experienced. We have to wait more than one hour on the bus in the car park outside the Macau/Hong Kong immigration building so that the tour guide can pick up more passengers without any offer of water and refreshment. The bus driver even turned off the light!!! We were picked up at 9.45am from our hotel but the tour did not start until 12.45pm. No one has offered us any apologies and/or explanation. Very disappointing.

Highlights of Macau

Our very experienced and professional guide, Cisco, ensured that we kept to the timetable and were able to see everything that we wanted. He also provides fascinating insight, good tips and knows the history which was my favourite part. I was surprised by the amount of tourists and if the gambling business is to be further developed, well I’m glad we went now before it’s totally spoilt.

The tour was good. I think the guide...

The tour was good. I think the guide doesnt explain a lot of a lot of places, probably because they are not very important, but he has to say that.
