A must tour!!!

Danny, the tour guide, was exceptional by any metric. His knowledge of the local history and culture was exceeded only by his knowledge of geopolitical influences to Little Havana. He was entertaining and genuinely enjoyed himself as he educated the group. I have need on many tours in many countries but this was my favorite mainly because of Danny. We also included the food portion of the trip. The food was exceptional but the added cost for the mojito was ridiculous. The mojito was essentially watered down to having no flavor. For the three hour tour, that is my only criticism. All else was memorable!

Meh...

There was just toi much talking and not enough eating or drinking. We spent the first part of tour HEAVILY digging into the history, but it was a cultural food tour. By the time I had actually eaten Cuban food I was ready to check out. The drinks were also ridiculously watered down. The least I expected was one good mojito. Could have driven here and had a better experience in my own.

Great tour with Christine. She was knowledgeable and interesting. We had Cuban coffee, visited a Cuban shirt shop and saw cigars being made. Opt for the lunch. It was superb!

This tour was quite interesting. We learned somethings about the Cuban culture and sampled a little bit of the cuisine. We had some fun stops along the way such as the churro spot, cigar spot and domino park. My favorite was the churro stop. They were hot and fresh … simply delicious! Few tips: wear cool and comfy clothing and shoes. Bring a sun visor/hat and a backpack of cold water if possible! It’s uncomfortably HOT in July. Enjoy!

Worth the walk
Linden_B

Mariela was an excellent tour guide. She super exceeded all of our expectations. Very informative. Answered all questions. The tour was worth the walk. The only thing I didn't like about the tour was the payment. On the description for the vegetarian option it says "$10" but then I was asked again to pay more money after. I think everything should be said in the description so that customers won't think that there is false advertisement. But other than that, Mariela was great.

Danny was very knowledgeable and a great tour guide. He took us through some local shops and even knew the owners by name. Felt like it was a family member showing you their home town. We drank some coffee, smoothies, churros and some delicious Cuban food at the end. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Our guide (Christine?) was fantastic! She really made the tour an experience. We went to a couple of cigar shops, food stands, cafes, and parks. We went the weekend Miami started opening restaurants so not everything was open but she did an exceptional job at making the tour worth every penny.

Hello Dan, thank for the rave review of your Little Havana Cultural tour with Food with Christine. Yes she is definitely passionate and knowledgeable about the history and culture. Christine has been conducting these tours for 12 years before tourism exploded in recent years. You actually had a sense of that time period for an authentic experience. The two bars were still closed as all bars are closed in Miami during Phase II of reopening. Indeed it is a great value! Stay safe.

Christine is such a knowledgeable and fun tour guide! She taught us a lot about the Cuban history in Miami but in a fun way! The food, Art, and music was also great. I would definitely recommend!!

Hello Mishika, Thank you for taking the time to share your exclusive experience on the Little Havana Tour. Christine is indeed a great guide and has a passion for sharing the history and traditions. It is also an advantage now to showcase the neighborhood with no mass tourism groups. With masks and safe distance one can still learn a lot and appreciate this national treasure

Christine was a great tour guide of little Havana. She knows so much about the neighborhood as well as the history and culture of Miami. This tour is perfect for those wanting to get away from the beach for a morning and explore some of the local traditions among Cuban Americans.

Hello Dalton, Thank you for sharing your experience of the Little Havana Cultural Walking & Food tour. Miami differs in scenery, history and traditions from one neighborhood to another. Christine is definitely one of the top guides given her academic knowledge and personal and professional experience. To delve more into the culture we do also offer virtual experiences (cigar etiquette, mojito cocktail or how about a merengue and salsa dance lesson with Christine!). You may visit our main site at littlehavanawalkingtour [dot] ....for more information. Saludos!
