Return Details

Returns to original departure point
This walking food tour begins in Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood. After a meet and greet with the guide, it’s time for a flavorful and fun adventure.

Visit family-owned and operated Cuban restaurants to sample the fresh flavors of the local cuisine. The Calle Ocho area of Little Havana provides an overview of the neighborhood’s traditional flavors—favorites like homemade mamey and flan ice cream, chicken- and picadillo-stuffed plantain cups, guava pastelito, plus coffee, guarapo juice and much more. Many of the Cuban dishes are prepared from family recipes that have been handed down from one generation to another. All tastings are included and sum up to a large, full lunch.

This tour includes more than just food, however. Meet some of the Cuban artists in their studios, listen to some traditional Cuban music and watch skilled Cuban cigar rollers at Havana Classic Cigar. Also, visit Maximo Gomez Domino Park, a landmark on Calle Ocho.

The tour concludes back at the original departure point.

Little Havanah in a "nutshell".

Béatrice was great! She took the time to explain many characteristics of life in Little Havanah as well as cultural roots in Cuba. Also, you're going to be fed so don't eat before coming. There isn't much time for shopping along the route, but it's easy to go back afterward since the route is only a few blocks long.

I loved delving a little deeper into Miami’s Cuban culture. Discovering the off-the-beaten path neighborhood of Little Havana was the highlight of my weekend! Our tour guide Kaylee was vibrant, knowledgeable, confident and entertaining. Viator tours never disappoint. Let’s get that Ball and Chain club back open!!!
