We knew when we booked this that there was not a meal included. However, when we read “snacks,” we thought that there would be something more substantial (crackers, nuts, baguettes, etc.) than what was offered. The first place had yummy smoked meats and cheese, but very thin slivers. The second place had 2 tiny “breadsticks” (the dry, thin kind.) This is fine, but it should be made more clear in the advertising. The bottom line- eat well beforehand.

Lots To Learn About Canadian Wine Industry! - Who Knew?

We went on the 1/2 day tour on 10/4/19 and really enjoyed it. The tour bus only held about 19 -20 people and was comfortable. Ken our driver was very knowledgeable about the area we were traveling through, the growing climate, the two vineyards we visited and the wines we tasted. He made the entire trip very interesting and educational. The people presenting at the vineyards were also very knowledgeable and welcoming. True to the other reviews, the snacks given were very limited, but being forewarned, we were prepared for that. We were there for the wine and the experience, not the food! Be warned, one of the vineyards has a very steep set of stairs to go down to view the vines up close, but you don't have to go down there to see the vines.All in all a great tour!

We picked the half day tour option, we saw two wineries that were great. There was a lot of education (more than we expected or wanted). There wasn't time to sit and enjoy a glass of wine, the tour felt very rushed. This tour is targeted more for older people (we were a group of girls in our late 20s). The weather was great.

All Day Wine Tasting Excursion

Our all day wine tasting trip was amazing. Ken our host and driver was super knowledgeable not only about the 3 vineyards we visited, but also shared, rich information and stories about the history of Quebec. He was super friendly and accommodating, and took us to 3 world class, diverse vineyards that I would visit again. The wine and company was fabulous. Being the only singleton on the excursion, Ken made me feel right at home with the group. I would give him 6 stars if I could. :) Thanks Ken!

We were visiting Montreal and decided that this wine tour would be a great way to see the countryside of the area. The bus arrived on time and there were about 16 guests in all, mainly Canadians wanting to explore their wine region. The guide and driver, Sabin was absolutely first class and although most of the other guests were french speakers, he made sure we as English speakers were kept fully informed. the 3 visits to wineries we really interesting and quite different to one another. An excellent cold lunch was provided and there was no shortage of wine samplings on the tour. The tour lasted over 9 hours, so Sabin worked very hard as he was both driving and guiding.

I am sorry to write this review but had to share. July 26 two of guests (2 sisters) were booked on this tour and ended up disappointed. There were no warnings to people with mobility issues. One of my guests can walk, but with difficulty and cannot stand. There were no chairs or stools to sit on, the wine was served standing. The second winery she was not able to navigate and had to sit on a bench along path in the hot sun. Further, they had to walk up hill to meet tour, which then took them back down. And lastly, although they were only promised a snack, they were served a thin piece of smoked salmon to share between ten people and nothing more. No snacks were available for purchase outside of the apple items. No pretzels, nuts, nothing. I obviously did not experience this first hand, however these are seasoned travelers and long time guests who have not complained in the past.

Bonjour, I am sorry to hear that our tour did not meet the expectations of your guests. We invite our customers to inform us of any special requirement that they might need during their short trip with us. After reviewing our booking list, we were not aware that one guest had a mobility issue on July 26th, 2019. Moreover, I am extremely surprised by this review since chairs are always available at every location if someone requests one. Our tour guides are also very active at helping people with mobility issues. We work extremely hard to provide an experience as authentic as possible. We also do our best to anticipate and accommodate every customer with special requirements. A small food-pairing session is planned during the half-day tour. It is composed of artisanal products prepared by our partner. It includes smoked salmon, but also smoked pork and goat cheese. These three items are always served on the half-day tour. The idea is to create a mix of flavours with high-quality products during the wine tasting. Sincerely, Martin
