Enjoy a stop at one of the city's legendary haunted bars, where you can indulge in a drink or two (at your own expense) in the company of fellow travelers and supernatural buffs.

Between stops, hear other creepy stories that have appeared on the History Channel and Discovery Channel. By the end of this chilling tour, understand why New Orleans is often called the most haunted city in America.

Your tour returns to the starting point in the French Quarter.

The most notorious alley in all America where pirates sold their contraband and killed their enemies and all right next to a Catholic Cathedral! Legend says that if you begin drinking in Pirate's Alley and make your way to Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop, the ghost of Jean Lafitte will greet you when you get there. Many a visitor has witnessed the apparitions of pirates running in the alley then disappearing late in the evening.
Pass By:
Pirate's Alley Cafe
Most of our guides end their ghost tour near this iconic bar in Pirate's Alley. Stop in and try an absynthe, dubbed The Green Fairy for it's hauntingly green appearance. This famous pub was a popular hangout for Aleistar Crowley in the early 1900s as well as an entire culture of vampire lifestylers in the 1990s.

Just average tour. Way to many people in the walking tour. About 30! The tour guide did an average job!

Thank you for your review. The City of New Orleans requires tour guides to have a maximum of 28 guests per tour. I'm not sure which day or night you took our tour, so I can't say how many were on your particular tour. However, all of our guides are trained actors & performers as well as licensed tour guides. They all know how to project to a group and most everyone always leaves our tours feeling satisfied and happy.

Best 2 hours I've spent in NOLA
Chan_S
, Oct 2021
I've done this 4 times over 10 years, always something new and different and fun. Quality of.tjemtouray vary based upon the individual guides--this is not a canned/scripted tour. Our group was led by Adriadne and she was fantastic. Don't expect to see ghosts, bit do expect to be entertained by ghostly tales based on hints of truth and plenty of history. Note that the tour usually includes a stop and a great historical bar that makes a delicious vicious hurricane, and while it's fine to drink on the tour this is not a pub crawl.
