Highly recommend if you like NYC and wanna eat delicious food

Went mid Oct during covid and Dante was super friendly to talk thru new safety precautions and get to know each other at the legendary and delicious Katz. He was super safe and I loved that he would get all the food for us so we got to hang and take in the ambiance at each stop. I live uptown but did this tour with my mom in town and the history and stories Dante brings in aren’t over the top all at but a great addition as we strolled the old neighborhood. And the food hits at every stop. A great array, Russ & Daughters, Vanessa’s dumplings, pickles, donuts, bialys every stop I’m telling you. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

From pastrami that melts in your mouth to pickles that will make you pucker ... this tour offered a wide variety of foods and a real taste of NYC’s history. Dante was excellent. Tour was a great value. No one left hungry.

Dante was a great host. Very welcoming and happy for the group to take it's time and snap plenty of photos. He engages with everyone and knows a great deal about the area. Plenty of food, start with an appetite and you'll finish full! Cheers

Awesome tasting tour

This was my second tour with Dante. I previously did the Greewich village one 3years ago, so when I came back on this trip I knew I had to try out the LES tour and I wasn't disappointed. We had 9 stops with a tasting at each place and not too much walking in between. There was no pressure to buy anything but the peach balsamic vinegar was too good not to get, plus some candy treats! I even went back to the bakery to get an everything bagel for my journey to Boston! Dante is an awesome guide. He is friendly and knowledgeable and makes sure that everyone is ok along the way. I can highly recommend doing this tour and hope to do one of Dante's tours again on my next visit from london!

My wife heard about this tour online. She specifically heard to ask for Dante. Little did we know, this was Dante's personal food tour. We have done a couple food tours in Greenwich. This one was the absolute best. Dante was extremely personable and down right fun. Nine stops! Are you kidding me? They were all awesome and we were totally stuffed. The group was great but Dante made it super fun. We loved that he was from Yonkers and knowledgeable about the Lower East Side. If we return with friends, we will have to introduce them to Dante and his amazing food tour! Thanks Dante! You rock!
