This Island Tour with Sigma Travel was one of the highlights of our holiday. The 5 varied attractions we visited were all interesting, and brought to life by our very knowledgeable guide Athena. Comfortable air conditioned coach was well driven by Irene on beautiful scenic coastal and forested mountain roads with stunning views. Time spent at each attraction was just right for each experience, and made it a very interesting and enjoyable day.

The experiences of this varied excursions were managed and enhanced by an excellent tour guide - Maria. I enjoyed her storied from Greek mythology. Didn't give five stars as possibly a bit late to include the butterfly visit as very few to be seen. Thanks for a thoroughly relaxed and enjoyable day. Really appreciated the phone call to say bus would be ten minutes late. Superb service.

A good trip to get to know more of Rhodes

We loved the fact that you go to many different places but are not rushed. Our guide Maria was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. We also enjoyed the lunch stop which cost us 14€ each and included wine and water. I particularly enjoyed seeing Kamiros the ancient city.

This tour gets you to most places inside Rhodes that are worth a visit. The tour starts with a bang at Filerimos; don't miss the chance to go into the archaeological site! Then Kameiros is also stunning and definitely worth a visit. The valley of Petaloudes is also worth seeing and a nice small walk in the forest, very lovely! The wine tasting and old house after Embonas are very interesting. However, the restaurant at Embonas was average and full of tourist groups so I felt a bit cheated there; Embonas could be omitted completely. I am sure there are other villages on the mountains with much better food. We were very lucky to have such a knowledgeable and nice tour guide!

Our guide, Nick, was a mine of information about all the sites we visited. For me the highlight was Kamiros, the lost Dorian city which only began to be excavated in the 19th Century. Filerimos, which combined ancient and more modern history was also fascinating. The optional lunch turned out to be good value, with three courses including a choice of main dishes. Nick was very responsive to questions and looked after our small group very well. I think the message about wearing masks could have been repeated even more as several of the group ignored them, so imperiling their fellow passengers.

Wonderful Tour Group & Experience!

First, the coach driver Yanni & the guide, Anna Maria were very friendly & engaging! Oftentimes you receive minimum engagement-but not with this tour! Super friendly which makes for a better experience. Everything was on time too by the way :) We explored many parts of the island that you wouldn’t normally see if you just stayed at the coast. Filermos & the peacocks were a treat as well as the wine tasting. Make certain you grab lunch with the group in Embona. Super fast service & quite the pleasurable meal for only $13Euros! The butterflies were gone by October in Petaloudes but it was a very nice stop nonetheless. My favorite stop was Ancient Kamiros where you can walk all along the ruins in the Greek Pompeii! Thank you so much for a Wonderful Tour of the Island!
