Cruise by high-speed catamaran to Culebra from Fajardo for a fun-filled day trip snorkeling, beach combing and sunbathing on this island paradise. Spend your morning exploring the fascinating undersea creatures that populate the island’s coral reefs before enjoying a buffet lunch complete with rum punch and piña colada refreshments. Then take the afternoon to relax and swim on the area’s perfect sugar-sand beaches, including Playa Flamenco and nearby Culebrita. Your excursion also includes snorkel equipment and offers optional round-trip transportation from hotels in Old San Juan, Condado or Isla Verde.
  • Ride a power catamaran to a gorgeous reef and nature preserve
  • Spend the afternoon at a deserted Caribbean island beach: Flamenco or Culebrita Island
  • Snorkel in crystal-clear waters and relax on a white sand beach
  • Enjoy complimentary drinks and a scrumptious buffet lunch!
Experience a true tropical paradise on this high-speed catamaran adventure to one of the most secluded and unspoiled spots in the Caribbean. This Culebra tour is the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation, offering snorkeling among the area’s amazing reefs, good food and drinks and a laid-back afternoon sunbathing and swimming on some of the world’s most pristine beaches.

Start your day trip with optional pickup from select hotels in San Juan, and head for your catamaran cruise leaving from Puerto del Rey ferry terminal in Fajardo. Soak up the sun on the short ride on your speedy vessel, refreshment already in hand, and take in the amazing views of the nearby Cordillera Islands Nature Reserve along the way.

The first stop of the day takes you to the pristine Carlos Rosario or Luis Peña underwater nature reserve, just off the western shore of Culebra, for fantastic snorkeling among the area’s beautiful aquatic environment.

Once you’ve worked up an appetite, enjoy a delicious buffet spread including tropical cocktails, soda, juice, iced tea, fresh fruit, gourmet pasta salad, coleslaw or bean salad, freshly baked bread, sliced meats (turkey, ham, pastrami or salami), seafood or chicken salad, sliced cheese, chips and cookies.

From there, take a short sail to one of Culebra’s unspoiled beaches for an afternoon of sunbathing, swimming and beach combing. Depending on weather conditions, your captain will take you to one of two choices: the stunning Flamenco Beach, situated on Culebra’s main island, or the half-mile long beach at Culebrita, a small islet that offers beautiful views of nearby Saint Thomas.

Finish your day with a return cruise to Fajardo, arriving back at the marina to make your own way home or via optional hotel transport.

Favorite experience in PR!

the beaches and water were absolutely beautiful. It was my first time snorkeling around a coral reef and it was so cool. The crew was great and really made our trip that much better.
Culebra trip

Please remember that you have to swim from the boat to the beach. That means that you cannot have drinks, towels, or any other belonging on the beach. You either sit on the sand or jump in the water. The boat did provide alcohol, but it was low quality and undrinkable. Expect a sandwich and a fruit platter for lunch. Also, not a lot of beach time... Just an hour and 30 mins. The ride is quite rough, if you get easily sick, sit outside! The staff was great though!!!

Excellent for swimming and snorkeling only. Staff is fun and energetic. The food and beverages were plentiful. Make sure to take Dramamine prior to leaving.
Nice reef

The snorkeling was great! Downside was that we were staying in Old San Juan so we had to meet our driver at 7am for a 9:30am departure. Just know that if you are staying in Old San Juan, you are the first pick up, and the last drop off. You might want to look into an Uber.
Beautiful snorkeling right on top of the fish.

My wife and I had a wonderful time. The trip was well organized and the snorkeling that we were able to do was wonderful. The staff and crew were attentive and very friendly. There was a chance for inclement weather and as the trip got closer but the company stayed in contact and provided options in the case that inclement weather forced a cancellation. We stopped at two locations - the first for snorkeling the second was more for swimming. My wife and I elected to snorkel at the second location as well and really enjoyed that as well. I would recommend this trip to anyone that wants to enjoy a snorkeling experience and chance for a high speed catamaran experience.
Perfect islands
, Mar 2020
The trip was over all such a great experiance to see those islands, the only downside was we were on each island 1-2 hours.
Beautiful Beach
, Mar 2020
I would definitely recommend this excursion. The water in Culebra is beautiful and a must see. The tour guides are also very helpful if you don’t know how to swim.
Great Overall Experience

Flamingo beach is absolutely stunning! Crew was amazingly helpful. The only disappointing thing was that you have to swim to the shores of flamenco beach so you can’t bring anything with you unless you have a waterproof bag or you swim with one hand above
Worth it!

We couldn’t have made it out Culebra without the organization of our guides! Flamenco beach was beautiful, snorkeling the coral reef was magical, and the food they prepared for us was delicious. This trip was well worth the money and time. The only thing that would’ve improved the excursion was an additional hour on the beach— we spent so long traveling there that it would’ve been nice to spend more time at our actual destination.
Exceptional Staff

The staff was so helpful, Even though you do not know how to swim, you can snorkel at the boat steps to have a view of coral reefs.
