We purchased the 3 attraction + Universal Studios option for a recent family trip to Singapore. There was no real saving (time or money) by using this pass compared to paying direct at the attraction. Once at attractions it was often unclear how / where we should redeem the pass which meant we were redirected to other (long) queues multiple times. Further, we were unable to use the pass for one of the attractions we visited as we were told we had to book (via email) 24 hours prior. I have no idea why this would be the case as we could have paid and entered at the ticket counter immediately. As this was our last day in Singapore we were unable to use our final attraction pass. I requested a refund for a portion of the pass on our return which was denied as the booking requirement was stated on the ticket (I only found this later on the e-tkts – not very prominent). Lastly the ‘What’s included’ section promises a ‘Fold out guide that features maps and attraction details’, which we never received. – Overall very disappointing.
Such great value and an incredibly convenient alternative to tours. Our family traveling with us got tours but that meant they had to do their things and leave at certain times only to wait for more buses etc however we just went when we were ready, because you redeem for attraction tickets at their guest services counter the line was much much smaller so very little waiting time and could do things at our own pace. For universal studios I highly recommend budgeting for the express pass, they are $110sd each for a one ride (you can only use the express once for each ride) or $140sd each for unlimited rides. People were in lines of up to 120mins where we were walking all the way to the front every time, the longest we waited in the express line was maybe 15 mins but most was straight through. We spent 8 hours there and went on every single ride some a few times. My favs were the mummy ride and the transformers ride.
I attended 5 attractions and did not get my money worth. I expected that there should be at least a saving of 10%, but I spent 162 SGD on the ticket and used 160 SGD for the attractions. It only helped me to reduce waiting times at some attractions, but that can also be achieved with individual online-tickets.
The package was the best bang for buck we could find. The only detraction was having to redeem for physical tickets at each attraction which added a little time to co-ordinate with 12 of us. We got there in the end, though, and had a great time.
The attractions pass is worth purchasing to avoid lines at ticket boxes. I do recommend the express ride pass otherwise some rides have a 90 min wait. the speed of loading rides is much slower than theme parks in UK and Australia your whole day will be spent in lines.
Purchase a rail pass also- extremely easy to navigate line UK and Paris. no need for a car. But be prepared for a bit of walking and regular humidity above 80.
This pass was not really worth getting. Had to line up at separate counter or even a different area to get admission tickets and so did not save any time and saved very little on admission cost. Skypark at Marina Bay Sands very disappointing - only limited roof access.
It was unfortunate that when book Flexi Pass we have not been informed by VIATOR.COM that there would be traffic disturbances in Singapore due to F1 car rally. We have to drop lot of city travel due to this and selected other not interested attraction. We paid S498 for nothing. Further Airport agent of viator was not cooperative . My suggestion to future travellers to explore on your own. There were lot of discounted sales attraction for which we paid full fare. Sorry VIATOR.COM this is my experience.
