Brilliant food tour

Our tour with Jim was brilliant. His English was amazing and he was so friendly and knowledgable. It was just the two of us on the tour and we have a great tour. We went to about 5 restaurants, mostly little local places youd never know were there. Great day, definitely recommend

We didn’t have a lot of time in Shanghai and this was perfect to see and eat a lot in a short amount of time. Our guide was fun, accommodating and gave us great insight into Shanghai.

A night of great foods and hidden secrets
, Jan 2020
This food tour was amazing. Our guide Jimmy and his associate were fantastic. They took us through areas of downtown and back alleys where we were able to get an authentic experience of Shanghai. Communication was outstanding and the variety of the dishes was great. The food was truly delicious. I highly recommend this tour to everyone!

The tour was great, the food was AMAZING! We actually went back to the restaurants the following days. Our tour guide was kind enough to type out the orders for us in wechat so we could order the same things.

Wonderful Food Tour and Craft Beer Tasting!!
, Nov 2019
Absolutely the best tour you could do in Shanghai! The company has meticulously hand picked excellent ma and pa places and will tailor the tour to suit your tastes or dietary needs. Our guide Mr. Ming was very friendly, knowledgeable and we could have spent all day with this guy learning and tasting goodies, but we were very full and satisfied and could not eat another delectable morsel of the fabulous food he had us eating!! Thank you Mr. Ming I would highly recommend your tour and your company. We feel so privileged that we had you as a guide and we enjoyed every second of our 3.5 hour tour! He even walked us back to the main drag so we knew where we were to get back to our hotel. If you are going to do a food tour, which why would you not, definitely pick this reputable company and enjoy!! We did the late night tour and we added when we made the reservation that we enjoyed craft beer and Mr. Ming did not disappoint! We hope you have a prosperous and healthy life Mr. Ming!! You were a delight indeed!!!!

Great guide and delicius food to sample, off the regular tourist path. Including a lovely tea shop and ceremony, as well as the classic soup dumplings. Highly recommended.

A really authentic experience
, Oct 2019
I had an amazing time and Jim was a great guide. Like their website says, most tourists will never experience the taste and the flavors like I did. I had some dietary restrictions but Jim was kind enough to accommodate it easily and still made the experience awesome. The noodle shop, the bbq stall, the beer tasting, the pastry shop and the tea shop all had its own unique and wonderful flavor profile. As we walked from one place to the next, Jim weaved in aspects of local life. It was fascinating to learn about mobile payments, work ethic and life in Shanghai. I am forever grateful to Jim for this wonderful experience.
