From your comfortable vantage point, see the flying white sails of Canada Place and tour the 1,000-acre (405-hectare) Stanley Park, an urban oasis of 500,000 cedar, fir and hemlock trees. Take in amazing views of the North Shore Mountains and Burrard Inlet, and admire historic First Nation totem poles in Brockton Point. Shopping-enthusiasts enjoy cruising down trendy Robson Street, where bustling eateries mingle with upscale retailers and independent boutiques.

Next, cross Lions Gate Bridge and head into the sprawling old-growth forest. Hear about flourishing local plants and wildlife, and catch some awe-inspiring canyon views. For the stout-hearted visitor, head to the Cliffwalk, a suspended, glass-bottomed walkway jutting out from granite cliffs over the Capilano River. You have some free time here to grab refreshments (own expense) and perhaps take the Treetops Adventure, a thrilling series of walkways sustainably attached to centuries-old Douglas firs.

Your excursion ends with drop-off at your departure point in the evening.

Two, the Capilano Swinging Bridge and Granville Island. Amazing construction and dream of one man.... now all the laughter generated as one crosses the bridge. Granville Island, market, has a wide selection of food and treats. Should be Vancouver stop for sure.

Getting out and about in Vancouver
Margaret_J

Loved this tour! Leslie’s commentary was excellent and very informative. Lots to see and do along the way. The Capilano suspension bridge is not for the faint hearted but there’s much more to do if this is not your thing. Granville Island is also a great stop - make sure you visit the fantastic produce markets! All in all this trip is a great way to learn more about Vancouver and its fascinating history.

Compact trip, all in one
Andy_P
, Aug 2022
Our tour guide is very nice and funny. He gave us a very detailed and fun introduction about the whole city. The only downside was I kinda expected to have more stops for pictures, I guess most of the people who stayed in downtown are close to all the interest point which they could have walk there themselves. The suspension bridge was very nice, 2 hours there is perfect for us. Granville Island was too crowded and we were too tired to walk around after the suspension bridge. Overall was a good trip if you are short in time.

Exceptional
JOANN_Y

Exceptional! We saw interesting and beautiful sites in this well-rounded tour. The most remarkable aspect of the tour was how attentive Martin and others of the crew were to each guest. I would suggest Martin share more history and current situation of architecture, businesses and commerce. Also less time at Granville Island and describing restaurants.

Dear JOANN_Y, We thank you for your feedback, we appreciate it! We're delighted to hear that you had an exceptional time on your tour around Vancouver! We have forwarded your feedback to our team. Thank you

Capilano Suspension Bridge is amazing!!
Julie_C
, Aug 2022
I gave this a five star review because the Capilano Suspension Bridge was amazing!! But if I had it to do over, I would have only gone to that portion of the tour. The Granville Island portion wasn’t worth the time. Of course that’s a personal opinion and obviously, some people like that sort of thing.

Good overall visit of Vancouver highlights. The stop at the Capilano Bridge was a highlight. I ate lunch at the restaurant at the bridge. It was delicious. Last stop was Granville Island. Enjoyed our guide and bus driver.

In my opinion the guide...
AMI_T
, Aug 2022
In my opinion the guide makes or brakes a city tour. Our guide was not engaging, seemed fixated on pointing out individual restaurants and shops along the way and was very repetitive. His information on the city, it’s history or other relevant facts and/or anecdotes was sorely lacking.
icon Response from Host , Aug 2022
Dear AMI_T, We thank you for your feedback and our operations team are aware of your review and will provide feedback to the guides! If you have any further comments or concerns please email info@glwcs.com. Thank you

Jimmy was our tour guide and he was excellent. Well worth the time and experience. Our only negative was the bus air conditioning was not quite up to par. Minor inconvenience in my opinion. Overall excellent day trip while in Vancouver.

Just okay. I’d pass

Suspension bridge experience was fun but you could go their on your own and spare the expense of this tour. Bus drives through China Town and Gas Town but doesn’t stop. Driver just points out things as we move along and the same throughout the commercial district. I was expecting more even if it were 20mins to walk around. Granville island was a highlight but you can’t expect to do much except browse or have a beer before getting back to the bus. Again you can easily do Granville on your own and spare the expense. Basically the tour was a bus sized Uber ride.

Rudest hotel pickup driver ever…
Michael_T
, Jul 2022
The tour guide was great but the driver who picked us up at the hotel was awful. I notified my tour operator the day before to let them know of tosd construction near my hotel, none the less the hotel pick up driver berated me for staying in a hotel near construction. As if it was my fault. Extremely rude and no courtesy for a tour operator. It was the worst start fir our trip.
icon Response from Host , Aug 2022
Dear MIchael_T, We're very sorry and disappointed about your experience with this pick up driver. Our operations team have been notified and are looking into the situation. If you have any further information please email info@glwcs.com. Thank you

Kevin, Our tour guide, made this the best tour I’ve ever had with his funny stories and quips and very interesting history of Vancouver, Stanley park and capillano bridge. And I took this same tour year’s ago but most certainly not as memorable. Great fun!

Vancouver city tour & suspension bridge
John_B
, Jul 2022
Tour was a little disappointing. The suspension bridge was fantastic but the city tour was very disappointing. Expected a lot more of the city info and the tour guide seemed to focus on the folks at the front of the bus.

Dear John_B, We're very sorry you didn't enjoy your tour around Vancouver! We're glad that you were able to enjoy the Capilano Suspension Bridge park. If there is any further comments or concerns please email us at info@glwcs.com. Thank you
