My favorite part of the tour was the Dr. King monument. Hearing the backstop from the tour guide really helped me understand the artist's symbolism of the piece.

My family of 4(me, my husband, my 14yr old daughter & 10 yr old son) had a fantastic time on our night tour. Our tour guide Alicia was wonderful- friendly, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. John, our driver, was great as well. We loved visiting all the monuments and memorials but also hearing about the various buildings scattered throughout DC as we travelled from destination to destination. Alicia encouraged us to ask questions and gave various tidbits at each stop and we all learned something new. It was definitely a highlight of our trip to DC and an extra bonus of going right after Christmas was all the decorations throughout the city. I would definitely recommend!

We had a very informative tour guide, Terry. The night was a little foggy but it was still good to see all of the memorials lit up.

Subpar Tour

This was the third moonlight tour I have done in DC and it was the worst. The narrator was not well-versed in the history of the monuments, or in American history for that matter. The narrator actually quoted information from a movie when discussing the Vietnam War! The tour did not get as close to the White House as you can as a pedestrian. The bus did not park close to any of the stops. We also paid for a 3 hour tour that was over in 2. This was previously my favorite tour in DC, but next time I will book with a different company.

I highly, highly recommend this tour. Christopher was our guide. He was friendly, well-versed in DC knowledge, funny and all-around awesome.. DC at night is one of the best ways to see the monuments and tour the city. No crowds and the monuments are almost more striking at night. Small tour group size was perfect.

GREAT tour! Mr. Map was so knowledgeable and personable. I took my parents on this tour after hearing a recommendation from a friend, particularly on how great Mr. Map was, and my high expectations were met! My parents are able to walk some, but not super far, and this was the perfect amount. The tour got you close to the things we most wanted to see so it was only a short walk to get into the monuments and get fantastic photos. Christmas was also a great time to go -- the trees and decorations were beautiful! In between sights, Mr. Map kept us feeling safe and entertained on the bus ride. He had very interesting facts that I didn't know after already living in DC for 7 years. And he did make us laugh several times. 5 stars across the board -- I would recommend this to anyone!
